A still of a graduated member & former group ace of SNH48 from an upcoming movie starring her & featuring a detective story set in the Republican Period during the former half of the last century:

https://wx3.sinaimg.cn/large/006YTw6yly ... 2ex7wm.jpg

While she's already left the group, she's still under the management of the same company of SNHG, tho she's now got her own personal exclusive agency & dedicated team of staff to take care of her. :)

[EDIT 1]
The MV for a song specially written for the 5th anniversary of SNH48, featuring their MVPs for the last year & released today:

^ The title of the song can be translated as "Still Got You in My World." :)

[EDIT 2]
^ A live performance of it by SNH48 & representatives from all their current four sister groups at their 5th anniversary concert tonight:

^ Note that they're all donning the 5th anniversary T-shirts, designed by the captain of SNH48's 2nd team. :)

A trailer of an upcoming movie starring three prominent members of SNH48, BEJ48, & GNZ48, respectively (two team captains & one team ace :oh: ), & featuring a detective story set in the Republican Period during the former half of the last century (yeah, just like that other movie mentioned at the beginning of the preceding post lol ), released today:

[EDIT]

^ Here're just the links in those posts, w/o my comments, which I might or mightn't add back in due course [EDIT: I'm adding back the comments now.]:

^ A view of the stage of the even bigger, almost four-hour SNHG concert in the evening of the 2nd day on Sat.

https://wx3.sinaimg.cn/large/006c5eFZgy1fo3j5c85d8j31hc0zkqiq.jpg

^ Another one.

^ A somewhat funny pic showing some of the BEJ48 members, in their casual outfits but all donning SNH48's 5th anniversary T-shirts, performing a 48 Group ritual at a corner of the backstage of the concert in the evening of the 1st day on Fri., while a team of security staff in either military-styled uniforms or plain clothes, all in black color, is passing thru at the back - note that while it looks cramped in that corner, the entire restricted zone of the backstage is actually pretty vast & feels like a maze. Also note those well-wishing ad stands at the far back - there're hundreds of such stands placed around the backstage by the hundreds of fanclubs of individual members, teams, groups, etc. from around the country.

^ A solo version of a famous 16-person group number from the current stage of GNZ48's 1st team, rendered by the deputy captain of SNH48's 1st team.

^ A famous number from the current stage of SNH48's 1st team, rendered by the now-largely-on-hiatus Taiwanese member in the team - hot legs!

^ This young candidate for SNH48's next-generation group ace could've spoken German instead of English at the end of the song, as she has German blood. lol

^ Three prominent members of SNH48 & the group ace of SHY48 rocking together.

^ Two prominent members of SNH48 & the captain of GNZ48's 2nd team showing their Arabian styled sexiness in a famous stage number of BEJ48's 2nd team.

^
Looks like the #2-ranked member of SNH48's 2nd team would have to perform a couple song w/ the team's deputy captain in a major SNHG concert early next month, despite her wishing that not happening (it's well known that she's been at odds w/ the deputy captain ever since the latter rejected her approach years ago, & her publicly cursing those fans voting for them to perform that song together in that concert is the direct cause of that crisis I mentioned here earlier - looks like her follies so vividly shown in the crisis have helped mobilize those votes against her wish :P ) - if that turns out to be true, I just hope she'd act professionally in the performance of the song, as she has to always respect the rules of the game, regardless of the motives of the voters. *sigh*

^ It's turned out to be true, & notice the (albeit by design to suit them lol ) absence of their interactions during the performance of that famous lesbian themed stage number about the tragic love between a human & a mermaid (the latter being played by that deputy captain in a white dress here) - in the past performances of that number by other SNHG members, there're lots of eye contacts & intimate body interactions between the performers.

^ A famous number from the current stage of SNH48's 2nd team, rendered by four prominent members of SNH48, BEJ48, & SHY48, respectively, in cool traditional Chinese style.

^ A cool performance of a number from the current stage of SNH48's 2nd team, by the same team.

^ Quality music & stage uniforms in this performance of a famous number from the current stage of GNZ48's 1st team, which's also their current team anthem, by the same team.

^ Footage of the announcement of the painful but necessary historic 1st ever large-scale, group-wide organizational shuffle of SNH48 & the appointment/re-appointment of their teams' new/existing captains & deputy captains at the end of the concert - it's heartbreaking for the group members & their fans alike (while I could've tons of comments about it, I don't have the time to do so here - sorry).

^ I can't find only one clip, which shows the debut of SNH48's 9th-generation members in their new 5th team, but its footage is contained & starts from 3m33s & 25m50s in the clip below, which's the full version of the last clip in the preceding post:

Pics of the large-scale handshaking, signing, & phototaking event jointly held by all the current five SNHG groups in the past two days immediately after their two major concerts on the two days before it, posted on a Japanese fansite today (click the pics to view them in their original large size):

上海SNH48第四回リクエストアワー感謝握手会の模様

It was only attended by less than 2/3 of all the current over 300 SNHG members, tho. :)

A pic of the former deputy captain of her former 4th team of SNH48 in a cool military-styled stage uniform of the team, posted by her today:

http://wx4.sinaimg.cn/large/005XzBb9gy1fo9caqmb2ij31bf1z4kjl.jpg

She's now been transferred to their 1st team as an ordinary member of the team after their reshuffle lately, but she still loves that uniform very much. :)

SNH48, BEJ48, & GNZ48 performing on a Chinese Yearend variety show of a major provincial satellite TV station tonight (the order of their performances: GNZ48 > BEJ48 > SNH48 > all three groups together):

All the current five SNHG groups are appearing on quite a number of TV stations, including major provincial satellite TV stations & state TV channels, during the Chinese Yearend & Lunar New Year period, like occupying the TV screen lol - obviously I can't link all the footage of it here. :)

As most members of the SNHG groups have now returned home around the country (from the endless steppe of Inner Mongolia to a tropical island in the South China Sea) for the Lunar New Year holidays, I've got a lil bit of time to highlight that reshuffle:

- While all the teams are involved, the most affected ones are, in the order of severity, their 5th, 3rd, & 2nd teams - their 1st & 4th teams are by-&-large kept intact.

- As I've already mentioned here earlier, the 5th team is abolished, & its members are re-assigned to other teams. It's replaced by a brand new team (w/ new name, emblem, & theme color) mainly comprising 9th-generation members but also including several double members from other teams.

- The captain of the 3rd team is demoted to the newly formed trainee team (along w/ several members of various teams), & the team ace of the 2nd team is parachuted to the 3rd team as its new captain, while the recently promoted deputy captain of the 3rd team remains in her post to assist the new captain to take over the team.

- Several heavyweight members of the 2nd team, including that team ace mentioned above, are transferred to the 3rd team, while a number of 3rd-team members are transferred to other teams.

- As I've already mentioned here earlier, both the captain & deputy captain of the 2nd team are replaced (via internal promotions).

- All 1st-generation members remain in the 1st team, which captain & deputy captain also remain unchanged.

- Several members of the 4th team, including the deputy captain, are transferred to other teams, & both the captain & deputy captain of that team are replaced (via internal promotions).

I don't have the time to cover the other changes or go to further details here, nor to explain the reasons of the above changes or comment on them - sorry.

The (pretty probable) future/next-generation group ace of SNH48 was the center girl leading a number of fellow 18-year-olds in performing a song on a Lunar New Year variety show of a major satellite TV station a couple of days ago:

^ Pretty impressive! :oh:

It's also not the 1st time the young group member appears on TV shows all alone w/o any of her team/group mates there.

OK, just some overall macro backgrounds of the reshuffle:

- The 5th team has long been troubled by scandals & personnel issues, as well as low ticket sales of its theater performances.

- The 3rd team has long been underperforming due to a host of various factors (some of which it can't control, tho), & its captain has to be held responsible for that under her long-time (lack of or weak) supervision (before she was promoted from deputy captain to captain, which happened more recently, she had long been the de facto acting captain due to the prolonged hiatus & then departure of the then captain).

- The 2nd team, which's long been the strongest among the five teams, is troubled by personnel divisions, most notably the long-time bad relations between its #3-ranking deputy captain & #2-ranking member, which's already become an embarrassing open secret w/i the entire group, among all the SNHG groups, & in their fandom (& now even the general public :P ). Its prolonged & ever increasing strength have also hampered the growth of other teams, especially the above-mentioned 3rd team.

- The 1st & 4th teams (the latter was personally trained & guided by veteran, 1st-generation members from the former during its formative period back then, & both teams have had double members in each other, hence their "special relationship") are relatively stable & hence require only fine tunings instead of the big surgeries or even dismemberment like the ones in those other three teams mentioned above.

Don't have the time to cover the individual-level micro aspects of the reshuffle, so I guess that's it at least for now. :)

^ Some general effects of the reshuffle:

1st team
- All its core members, especially the 1st-generation ones, including both its captain & deputy captain, are unaffected.
- Some underperforming members are demoted to the trainee team, while some quality new bloods are transferred from other teams, hence strengthening the team.

2nd team
- Both its captain & deputy captain are replaced, partly for their being held responsible for the chronic personnel divisions in the team, & partly for the practical reason that they can't possibly exercise their duties effectively due to their own immense popularity & their resultant tons of outside jobs. The new captain & deputy captain are also popular, but not that popular, hence still being able to stay w/ & closely supervise the team most of the time.
- While several of its heavyweight members are transferred to the 3rd team, hence weakening it to a certain degree, many other core members are still staying, & it's hence still the strongest among the five teams.
- Those two members at odds w/ each other are now separated in different teams, after that #2-ranking one being transferred to the 3rd team, hence greatly improving its solidarity.

3rd team
- It's now beefed up & led by those heavyweights transferred from the powerful 2nd team.
- How the morales of its existing members are affected remains to be seen.
- Whether that #2-ranking member transferred to the team could get along w/ everyone & whether she'd become a liability of the team in due course also remain to be seen.

4th team
- Its composition is largely unchanged.
- The replacement of both its captain & deputy captain could bring new vigor to the team, as the previous ones, while not having big problems in their leadership, lack the charisma & "fire" in pushing the team up to a higher level of performance.

The new 5th team
- While it still doesn't have its captain & deputy captain appointed, which makes sense for a newly formed team, a double member from the 1st team acts as its "representative," who's assigned to train & guide its 9th-generation members, much like what she did for the 4th team back then - they obviously intend to reproduce the success of the 4th team. lol
