Queen Serenity with her baby at the galaxy cauldron. With Yukie Sakou hair. And a high budget anime look.
I love how Yukie Sakou draws hair!

I'm wondering how they will handle the Animamates murdering the Inner Senshi.

Or Pluto trying to activate her castle while Galaxia materialises behind her like something out of a horror film
I felt like the Inners got killed off a little too fast in the manga (only Siren killed two Inners, she was the most successful of the Animamates), and I wouldn't want it to be like that.

consider that, in any case, it is the immense power of Galaxia that acts.

I would like to see the immense powers released come animated with extreme care and fidelity to the manga. This story arc deserves it!

This is why I don’t want them to follow the manga word for word. I still don’t understand why they can’t be faithful without having to be a slave to the manga.
Nope let them be killed. The alternative is having too many characters, and not enough time to developer them.

So it'd just be like past seasons of Crystal where they got next to no development lol. At least they'd look like the past 5 years and constant power ups meant SOMETHING. Guardians of a Princess who does more guarding of them.

They still got development.Realistically if weget Stars..It would either be a 13 episode series, or two movies. There is no reason keeping them around, and this point.Because their arcs are done. You have so many characters at this point.I didn't mind them getting killed in the manga early.Because so much is going on.

If this was an alternate dimension.Where we have 20 episodes.Yah, you can keep them longer. At this point no.

I mean given Crystal and Eternal’s track record then it’s probably going to happen exactly like in the manga but re-reading all the manga when I got to Stars and they all get killed off I was like ‘This is like the Black Moon kidnapping all over again!’ It feels like cheap storytelling in some ways.

However I suppose it is also effective in the sense that we get to see how it effects Sailor Moon’s psyche and slowly breaks her down over the course of the arc. Not sure how well a short 70 minute movie could pull this off effectively without it feeling repetitive like it did in Eternal but we shall see.

That's why it would be two movies.Like Dream is, I hope for a tv series for Stars .I do agree it does feel like a bit of a re hash. But I feel like doing it made the stakes higher. They getting taken out like flies.

The only one that develops with these deaths is Usagi and they could have the similar effect with fast deaths.

Honestly, I think two movies is better for Stars, since I think it will be the best to kill the other senshis faster. The stakes will be equally high.

It will feel repetitve in TV episodes too, since they don't really develop the killed characters in these chapters.

The movies will probably allow we jump that part faster.

I don't see why anyone would anticipate that a Stars adaptation would spare the Inners and Outers when 1) the amount of differences between Crysternal and the manga have decreased over time 2) even the most recent musical adaptation of Stars kept the same plotpoint.
