So like...a color version of the Moon Prism Box feature from the old website? I wouldn't hate that.
It worked with Buffy.

Also, it seems that Naoko loves her manga more than anything else; we may not hear about the TOEI movies, but the manga is always being re-released in new formats and with new illustrations as covers.

I think they can try with the short stories the way they did with the VAs reading it. And if successful, they can release it. Who cares about Toei's barely anmated films. The manga is still the best anyway. Now it is in color. Make a basic animation here and there and voice it. It sounds great.

For manga lovers, it’s a better idea than having the movies & I feel it is going to happen—now or in the future.

Frankly, it's just the silhouette of Sailor Moon, and only the mouth has movement.
It's totally different from animating everything.
But we’re talking about a slightly animated version of the pages of the manga—following the concept of Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Season 8.

PNP/Kodansha should do the same, just bring a voice cast, and release a DVD, Blu-ray version of the manga.
Now, here's a thought. Supposing that they were to do this, if they were to bring in a voice cast, should they then include or omit the word bubbles?

I've seen some motion comics where, since they had a voice cast, they left out the word bubbles to allow the artwork to speak for itself (pun intended).
