the dream arc is my favorite in the manga, because we have more extent with the inner senshi, and yeah dosent look like a mary sue they have insecurities etc like every human, and we see more about hers past lifes

The colors here are not original though. Btw: Did someone already edit both snippets of Mars Flsme Sniper together? Seems like we already got the full attack
I'm pretty sure there are still missing bits between the hand scene and when she draws the bow. We also haven't seen her shoot it yet. I'm really excited, though, since the attack looks sooo gorgeous! It also looks way more powerful; as nice as Flame Sniper looked in SuperS (god bless Ikuko da Vinci), it always looked kind of weak to me. Actually, all of the Crystal Power attacks did, with Mercury's ironically looking the strongest lmfao.

I love how strong the attacks looked in Crystal, especially Season 1. Like when Mars lit up the sky with Akruyo Taisen in Ep 5. I hope Flame Sniper obliterates Tiger's Eye with the same powerful energy...like how Mars toasted that D&D girl.

I hope Tiger Eye's beast form is fearsome too.

I dont know if they'd go as far as Mars arrow going through the mouth of TE but that'd be epic and Kon usually doesn't shy away.

Hope Jupiter obliterates Hawk's Eye too into nothingness.

(Side note: I do not hate the Trio at all..lol Just want the Inners to wreck shop.)

It would be nice if they blend the 90s attack with the panel of the manga, where she‘s just holding the arrow up in the air.

Not to sound like a shonen fan, I really wanna see them destroy the mirror dimensions they're trapped in like in the manga. LIke, instead of the dimension just disappearing after killing the Amazon Trio, I want them to show their attacks literally destroying the area around them and then killing the Amazon Trio members. The Sailor Senshi are such bad bitches, but the anime made them sooo weak it actually drove me insane (minus some random really cool moments), and it always felt a bit misogynistic to me.

I always stick up for SuperS, but this is one thing I hate about it. All of the senshi's previous attacks looked way stronger. Hell, Shine Aqua Illusion and Mercury Aqua Rhapsody are the same except that the former can freeze. Good think she got Aqua Mirage at least.

Oak Evolution are just leaves flying about. Love and Beauty Shock sometimes is a small heart, and in the SuperS movie it was a thick beam. Confusing.

As a kid, I always saw Mercury Aqua Rhapsody as stronger because the water she was summoning was different. The water in Shine Aqua Illusion looks more real/organic, like water you can find out in the real world, but the water in Aqua Rhapsody looks more mystical, so I always assumed it had special magic properties that made it stronger. Of course, they're both magic attacks, and I know that was just a headcanon I had as a kid, but I guess that's part of why Aqua Rhapsody seemed stronger to me. Also, she seemed to be summoning up a lot more water, so yeah.

omfgggg the inconsistency of Love and Beauty Shock bothers me to this day. Sometimes, it's a bolt of energy that just disperses once it hits something and sort of stuns its target (when it attacks that Phage with the keyboard). Sometimes, it's a rolling ball of energy that just smashes through its targets and does a lot of concussive damage (when it destroys JunJun's giant ball thing). Sometimes, it's a slicing energy ribbon thing (against Nehelenia's puppet dolls)? And sometimes, it's a small beam of energy (SuperS)... like, make up your minds omfgg. I love the sequence for Love and Beauty Shock; it's sooo cute and so unapologetically hyper-feminine, but the way the animators had it manifest in battle was so annoying.

Oak Evolution was lame, too. It just felt like a weaker version of Crescent Beam Shower to me lol.

yeah i didnt feel the attacks in super s much powerful i hope toei do something for it, mh and i hope we can see the new attacks from the outers well mostly saturn, and the transformations, mh i think pluto transformation will the same as the 90s anime, but saturn she didnt have one, but i know that mostly be in the second movie, i think in the fighting game the attack look it more powerful

”Stars,” on the other hand, is a nerve-wracking arc. It truly demonstrates the strength of Naoko’s writing—especially considering the bittersweet ending that we are given. A bold decision. I wonder how they will adapt and handle Stars because it is a very strong arc.
What are examples of "Stars" being nerve-wracking?

Oak Evolution would have been better as bolts of electrical charged leaves to go with Jupiter's plant powers or something like that. A mixture of Flower Hurricane and Supreme Thunder.

I always saw Mercury Aqua Rhapsody stronger than Shine Aqua Illusion but SAI was way more versatile in usage. In fact, all the Inners attacks from R - S were more useful-looking than their stronger SuperS versions.

Once they got upgrades I was under the impression their older attacks would get powered up...like Shine Aqua Illusion being as powerful as Deep Submerge, which would make her pretty dangerous on all levels. I dont think that's what I got cause they rarely ever used them outside the SuperS movie, which did a good job showcasing things.

Even though it wasn't canon, I wish Fire Soul Bird and Supreme Thunder Dragon made another appearance. Thatd be cool for Mars to have both a bird and snake attack.

As far as Stars being annoying. For me, Some of the Phages were a waste of time. The hild up to the episode at climax was lackluster. It became fairly common the Phage would show up and there really wasn't a battle or anything. This happened a few other times in the series but seems to pick up in SuperS and the in Stars.

The only great parts of Stars was the Nehellania and the last few episodes. None of the Phages were a real challenge except for Sailor Gamer and maybe one or two more.

When they develop the Stars series after this I am highly curious how they do it.

In any case, we've seen bits and pieces from the Inners Super attacks all except for Venus obvious who will probably have something new added. All we got was a spin with Jupiter so it will be interesting to see how they revamp and make the attacks look updated with After Effects..lol

Jupiter Oak Evolution in the anime just made such little sense to me because the plant powers came literally out of nowhere. Manga Jupiter was always capable of summoning nature, and she was way more similar to Storm from X-Men (controlling all forces of nature), while her anime counterpart was basically just Thor (just lightning magic). Anime Jupiter had literally 0 nature attacks or even motifs (aside from her earrings), so it was just so... odd lol.

Well, that is what happened in the anime. Sparkling Wide Pressure and Burning Mandala did nothing against that Lemure's force field, but once they got their super upgrades from Pegasus, they tore through it using the same attacks like it was nothing. Also, Shine Aqua Illusion looked crazy strong in that episode; it literally looked like a tsunami.

How would that work, though? The Rei that has Fire Soul Bird and the Rei that has Snake Fire are from two different canons. The only version of Rei that has both attacks is the Rei from Another Story.

Well, none of this was really in the manga, so I don't think they'll have to worry about that for the Crystal adaptation. I just hope they stretch out the first half, though, since the part of the story that takes place on Earth was so bloated and rushed. I loved everything that happens once Usagi and co. arrive in the center of the galaxy, though.

If those attacks "weren't canon", how come :ami: still uses her Shabon Spray Freezing later on? Can't the Sailor Moon anime/manga just have their own canons? Sorry, but that's one thing I've always disliked about this fanbase and a lot of anime/manga fandom, they always claim "ONLY DA MANGA IZ CANON!!!"

Sailor Amuse was kinda cool.

I wanna see the less popular ones in Crystal Season 2 especially :ami:'s Mizubunshin and a properly animated Rolling Heart Vibration.

Because they arent, which is why I compared it with Mars Snake Fire which was only used in the Crystal series, and in the manga (though it appears in the 90's S opening, it was never used as an actual attack). If Sharbo Spray Freezing, Fire Soul Bird and the other attacks were a part of the actual Crystal story, they would have appeared in Crystal's anime, and Mars would have had both, Fire Soul Bird and Mars Snake Fire as attacks.
