At least they HAVE an editor now. Last time, Bill Flanagan did both, and failed miserably at the latter. I don't care if Bill is still the translator. They just need a dedicated person adapting the dialogue for it to make sense and flow well, and also for quality control. There's usually a separate person for both. For instance, Dragon Ball's (very good) translation was done by Mari Morimoto, but adapted by Gerald Jones.

I'll wait until I read the fan reactions before I buy, but I'm still willing to give the re-re-release a chance. Kodansha has changed a lot since their early days. I have no complaints about their recent releases, so I'm feeling more optimistic this time around.

Still wouldn't recommend anyone getting their hopes up for an honorific-free release though.

That's what I'm hoping, but the layout of the text still isn't great. I also hope that's just a low-res pic Amazon's using and the actual cover won't look that dull.

The layout definitely isn't great... And that "Eternal Edition" text at the bottom looks really out-of-place and unnecessary. To be honest, they could have completely kept the Japanese cover because it already came with an English translation of all the text. The cover up on Amazon kind of looks like fan art from MS Word.

Neat, it's definitely a different translation. The sound effects don't seem to be phonetic either. Shame we can't make out more of the text. Look's promising.
