Ah, Shiva Shingetsu Astarte. What limited stage time you had. I still love those Dracul musicals, though. The Sailor Senshi in Transylvania...it just sounds so badass. =3

But really, it could be anything. Sera Myu's consistency is not so much. =P

I think the musicals have never been known for their consistency.

I have my own Otaku Senshi roleplay site and I have started a new plot/contest where Crystal Tokyo needs a new ruler due to a strange illness that befalls the Silver Millenium court leaving the Crystal Palace abandoned. Any otaku senshi may participate from any planet/star/solar system/galaxy-etc. There will be quests and morality tests to determine who would be the best candidate. Please come and check it out. It will be tons of fun

See, the problem is one person's offense is another person's joke, and friends should avoid the possibility of hurting another's feelings at any time, unless it's necessary for one's mental or physical health, as it tends to upset the power dynamics between two peers. Actually, Haruka and Michiru do sometimes tease each other. Michiru makes fun of Haruka's driving in the first episode of Sailor Stars, and she also playfully insinuates that she's jealous of Seiya in a later episode of Sailor Stars. It's much more subtle than Rei/Usagi's teasing or even Mamoru/Usagi's, which is way more antagonistic than mere teasing in the first couple of episodes of the first season/series.

Also in the first episode of Sailor Stars, Michiru comments that Haruka is getting too heavy when she's trying to keep her from falling off a building. Haruka, of course, interprets it sexually.

I do think it's possible that two people can tease each other if they don't *understand* their own feelings for each other, or if they're afraid to show their true feelings for some reason. These are the reasons why young children sometimes tease or make fun of the kids they "like," because they don't understand what they're feeling, or they otherwise don't want to be made fun of for "liking" someone (a very common playground offense, if I recall, haha...means you got cooties =P). And that's when it's really antagonistic. When it's light teasing between two people, sometimes people prefer that. I can't imagine dating someone I can't poke fun at every now and then, and I can't imagine that same person not poking fun at me once in a while.

One of my closest friends constantly teases me about all kinds of things, from my love of Joss Whedon to my sexual orientation. Sometimes he gets too offensive and I get upset, but that's okay, because I know that he means well and it always works out in the end. He's my friend because he tries to do the right thing, he just doesn't understand the proper limits all the time. But like I said, it doesn't mean we're not close, and in fact, I don't know what I'd do without his teasing. =P

Nakayoshi to Issho translation help

My boyfriend is a ROM hacker currently working on a English translation of Nakayoshi to Issho. It is a Famicom RPG which features Sailor Moon characters in addition to characters from other Nakayoshi publications. He needs to find someone fluent in Japanese and English to translate the script so he can insert it back into the ROM. The script is only about 30 KB in size, so it would be a fairly small project.
