1) That's wasn't a radical change in art style. The changes were subtle and nuanced and not even remotely comparable to the drastic style shift between the first two seasons and the third season of SMC. 2) Fans actually argued about that all the time back in the day (they still do but to a lesser degree now). They were constantly analyzing the design variations of the '90s anime and even divided them according to animators.
I just don't know why we can't have fans that like the original style and we can have fans who like the s3 style and fans can just be respectful to each other's personal preferences because that's really all this argument over the art style is instead of everyone trying to tear down each other's personal taste.

At the end of the video, Chiaki said that the movie would fundamentally follow the original manga. I'm in doubt if she could manage that...

While pulling a prank like that is in bad taste, wishing someone a painful death also seems kind of offensive to me.

What’s frustrating to me about Crystal is that the only reason I got over it adapting the manda 1:1 was that I thought we would get to the Dream arc faster... I’m laughing at how naive I was.

It’s even sadder when you think about how many scenes they might cut from the manga (and I bet they’ll be at the expense of the Inners), so there’s a risk that these movies won’t even be worth the wait.

To think... If they'd just kept Season 1/2's release schedule of two episodes a month, we would have been done with this reboot by now, with all the side stories adapted, including Parallel Sailor Moon, plus the Sailor V manga.
To think of it, waiting for 2 weeks or 3 weeks for an episode is NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING... *in Hermione's voice*

Or if Crystal was a weekly TV series from the start (like it should have been) we would have covered the entire manga including the short stories and Sailor V in less than 2 years and probably left room for new stories at this point.
I think the underlying reason is the lack of human resource. Since season I, they had to hire not-very-good animators, for example, it needed up to 38 people to draw episode 2 but that was a hideous episode, compared to episode 5 which was done by 5 - 6 people.

I think the only episodes that were really good are ep 1 and ep 27A, because they were the first episode of each season to promote and attract people's attention. Ep 21 and 25 were good too, but they are not constantly well done from the start to the end of episode.

Sad thing is, Dragon Ball Super (Later part) looked (mostly) good, so is Gegege no Kitaro and Precure, Sailor Moon time must really be over, since they stopped giving crap about consistent quality of it :(

I'm really shocked that if Tori hadn't received very many complaints from people in Japan. As much as we have complained here about the poor quality of the drawings/episodes and whatever else they seem to indefinitely screw up on.

Kitaro is going to run for 100+ episodes (as has been tradition since the 80s remake) so there's bound to be bad looking episodes along the way.

As for Super, this is true but that last arc was a chore to deal with in other areas (like the writing for most of the last stretch of episodes).

Confirmed at this year's Birthday event:

Character Designer: Kazuko Tadano (90s Character Designer for Season 1 & both R season & movie)
Her character design in movie R is very good (I have to say that is the best in three movies). Did she have to redesign them or it was because the animators?
