What unrequited love from the manga/anime/Crystal/PGSM/musicals/video games/etc do you wish had gotten to become an actual couple?

As far as "other" goes, I was thinking of 'pairings' where I wasn't sure if there were really any romantic feelings (e.g. Haruka and Usagi in the manga/Crystal), if the love was unrequited (e.g. Makoto and her sempai; in Crystal it seemed like the love was unrequited, but I'm not sure if that was the case in the manga and other adaptations? / Rubeus and Calaveras in the manga / etc), or where the status changes between the various incarnations (e.g. Mako's crush on Motoki is unrequited in the 90s anime, but they become a couple in PGSM). There are so many potential unrequited loves across the various versions of "Sailor Moon" that I couldn't list them all.

On the list definitely Ace and Minako. Then again the writing is so poor in that final part of Sailor V. Minako acts like she loves him but then the two are like "oh we can't be together because of Minako's duty so we must fight." So really I don't think their love was unrequited and they just fought for the stupid forever alone reason for Usagi's Senshi It is really silly I mean of Haruka and Michiru can have a romantic relationship then why can't the other Senshi. I mean Naoko could have had that Ace and Sailor Venus become a couple and protect the Princess together. However instead she wanted to do that whole Usagi's Guardians being forever alone thing which again she is inconsistent with because Haruka and Michiru get to have a relationship.

Rei and Yuichirou.
Honestly I wouldn't say their love was unrequited Rei and Yuuichirou were clearly shown to have feelings for one I think that Rei was just afraid to get with him for some reason. A part of me wonders if even though that Rei was not as manhating in the 90s anime like in the manga but even though she said she wanted a boyfriend she constantly went after men she couldn't get like Mamoru because she was subconsciously afraid of having her heart broken assuming that some of the stuff in Casablanca Memory could be canon to the 90s anime.

I have to disagree, I certainly don't think it really is right to say manga Rei hates ALL men, at least I don't seem to think that. The ONLY man she harbors a strong hatred against is her own father, career politician Takashi Hino. Rei HATES him because he abandoned the family, especially his ill wife, Risa, leaving Risa to die. Rei developed trust issues because of that. There are examples of male characters loves in a platonic way, such as Mamoru and her grandpa.

While I like that 90's Rei's fiery temper, I didn't like how she was as boy crazed as the other core 5 Sailors (minus Ami).

I think people took Rei's distrust of men in the manga way tooo far. The way some fans talk about manga!Rei you would think her entire character was someone who can't go a single line without mentioning how much she hates men or something.

And yeah I like that Rei's dislike for men distinguishes her from the other girls. In the manga you have one girl who only has eyes for one man, a girl who falls with another guy every 5 seconds, a girl who can fall for guys but isn't obsessive, a girl who is about her studies first, and a girl who dislikes men. In the anime it's just 5 boy-crazy girls 2 of them are just way worse about it and one is more discrete. Rei in the anime is pretty much just Usagi with more grace and able to put on the sophisticated front

Ah, I am aware that neither a horse or fairy are human and never indicated one of them was ;)
My above comment that they aren't humans is just an additional remark in response to your earlier post, & isn't related to whether you see them as humans or not. :)

I voted for Kaolinite and Professor Tomoe because it seems like we don't really get a whole lot of villain couples outside of Zoisite and Nephrite and if we count Siren and Lead Crow.
