Honestly though I find the story finished, complete and I don't need sequel to it. The characters have been through a lot of stuff and I don't see a sequel in a distant future following Chibi Usa as needed, and honestly I doubt it can bring anything new to the table. For me Stars arc was not really needed, felt forced and very tired. I rather have a continuation or reboot of Toki Meka or a completely new title of Naoko. I doubt she will ever do something new both Sailor Moon related or non-related though. I wish Crystal expanded the lore of the manga, wrapping some lose ends, providing further exploration as the manga provides a solid fondation for something quite good with a more serious tone, more coherent and deep story as some elements can rival the likes of Madoka if done a different and expandig way. But none of this happened. Overall I am happy with the endings of both old anie and manga and I don't want to see something done by a different artist either, especially with the current shoujo trends in mind...
Did you post it on the wrong thread? lol

Actually I am not so sure anymore... Sailor Drop is shuting down... Not a good sign.
Oh no...if we don't get the movies, I'll be very sad and sadly it will show that despite the third season being decent Crystal truly was a failure (two godawful seasons followed by a decent third one is not a good show).

I don't want people to think there can't be another Sailor Moon anime though...

^Nobody knows, it launched in September 2015 in Japan and April 2016 internationally and as of March 2018 reached 3 million downloads worldwide which I guess is low compared to DBZ Dokkan Battle which was a few months older than Drops (January in Japan, July internationally) and as of last Summer reached 250 million downloads.

Oh, stop it. If was truly crystal was a failure it wouldn't even get season 3 or a movie. You don't have to like it but saying it was a complete failure. Is just exaggerating. As for drops that's an app game. That had nothing to do with crystal . They have their own revenue. It's more likely they didn't get much of a profit. To continue the services.Games like that need revenue to keep going.

OK, sorry (and I didn't even say I didn't like it, I thought season 3 was fine!!). What I meant by "failure" was I felt it failed to live up to expectations, mostly the first two seasons, and they almost turned the reputation of the franchise into a joke.

ok, that's quite a difference. i don't know that dragon ball game but drops is a candy crush clone, which i don't find that exciting. the best thing about drops are the watercolor map-backgrounds. they look like if they came straight out of the 90s anime and juxtaposed all the locations next to eachother. i love it!

I made up a saying, (with inspiration from another one)

"I use to think I waited too long for Dream films...until I met a person who waited for Kingdom Hearts 3".
How was that game? I haven't played much of the KH series myself, but just wondering, did it live up to the hype?
