The original plan was to upgrade Sailor Moon to Eternal Sailor Moon in Ep. 166 and likely the other Senshi in 172 but that did not materialize, changing the people involved made it much worse because they scrapped the originally planned plot of Sailor Stars as well as the final episode of Super S.

Ikuhara also scrapped his original plan for Sailor Moon to upgrade to Eternal in Episode 166, I think that might have not happened if he was part of Sailor Stars.

Elios was originally planned to return in Neherenia Arc as well.
Well we do see flash of Eternal SM is last episode of SuperS no ? Like for a second ?

Actually, we could have had Sailor Moon in Eternal Form throughout 167-172, if Ikuhara did not scrap upgrading her to eternal form in 166.

Episode 167 was adapted from the last part of Infinity.

It's been pointed out before that the Inners and Chibiusa are wearing the same clothes in the first and last episode of SuperS, implying some sort of dream and/or time reset.

Slightly off-topic, has anyone else noticed that Motoki wasn't phased during the "Moon Crisis Power" scene, when he was going to check up on Unazuki? Does this imply he doesn't have any dreams?

The real problem is they depicted year round seasons while also deciding to save the girls going to high school for Sailor Stars.

Since S ends around late December they could have easily placed SuperS as taking place from January to late March
Well I thought it was the case regarding SuperS, like the all story happened in fact during Spring break but someone points out that all the seasons are depicted in the SuperS season (winter, spring, summer and automn) so yeah it makes no sense. So for me the all season happened in kind of dream loop timeline.

Hmmm strange. I do remember Nehelenia just before entering again in her mirror seing for 0.5 sec. a flash glimpse “memories/premonition” of another form of SM. What was that then ? I always thought it was a sign of SM next form (without really showing the final design; just a glimpse)

I think they could have adapted the acts 38 and 44-49 faithfully in Sailor Stars in this case after Ikuhara left.

In the 90 series, we don't even know where the people (the guardians) are born ... Galaxia talks about preventing the birth of stars, but at times I ask myself the question: if the light of hope is not the cradle of life.

Because when Galaxia releases its Star Seed, a field of flowers (Star Seeds) appears everywhere.

She assumes the form of Sailor Cosmos (which is unrelated to Sailor Moon in the anime). It's the only Star Seed that can do just that. Get in physical shape.

Their original plan was for Galaxia to become Chaos which both the Anime and Manga scrapped not just be possessed by it.

I am quite thankful for the Eternal movies in some way because the second movie and the finale of S3 of Crystal are what the Neherenia Arc(167-172) should have looked like in my opinion.
