In other note, what do you think of the OST? Is it good? Are there any unused tracks? Are there any reused pieces (I read in YouTube Mars Flame Sniper ost is a remix of a Fairy Tale song)

Yes, the Mars flame sniper ost has similarities with “Silver Raid” from Fairy Tail some parts are similar such as Kaolinete Theme and the Desert Apostoles theme from heart-catch Pretty Cure.

Even though they are remixes, l find them to be it’s own thing and thematically appropriate for their respective series.

Hands down, my favorite track from the OST has to be Track 25: "Chibiusa's Tears-Don't Cry, Little Maiden." It's the orchestral version of Moonlight Chainon, and actually the first time Crysternal has ever done one for its own theme songs (seriously why isn't there one for Moon Pride, at least?).

The way it builds is so beautiful and honestly reminds me of the '90s anime whenever they'd do a rearranged version of one of the end themes.

Yeah the chainon reprises really shines.
I prefer the first movie OST, there are way more memorable themes and 2nd part score seems less inspired than 1st. Some tracks really lacks identity, even by the composer’s standard. They look like ambiant theme with synthetic instruments, I don’t know how to describe this feeling :/

Is it me or some tracks were not used at all the way there were some unused themes in the first two seasons ost?

At least we got some orchestrated version for the PGSM 25th anniversary album.
Moon Pride was kinda meh but Moonbow and Eternal Eternity were good:

I think my biggest problem with Yasuharu Takanashi is that while I love his use of choir and symphonic rock, with a few exceptions, the melodies he uses just always feel unmemorable. Like aside from the piece I mentioned above, I can't remember how much of the music from Eternal goes even though it's all super pretty. The orchestral Moonlight Chainon sticks out because the melody of the song is already soo catchy, that it just works even as a pared down version with string, flutes and bagpipes.

That's why I was kind of bummed that despite all of the numerous staff changes, they kept him in charge of the OST. It's funny because the movie uses absolutely 0% of Crystal's prior OST, so this was totally an opportunity to bring someone new.

I don't think so. They're just in the movie. However, it seems that the music in this movie has lower volume than it did in SMC. For example, the transformation theme of Inners has a very low volume.

I still like Track 9 from the second disc. The Outers theme. While it doesn't blow the original theme from the 90's out of the water I how the song ends. It's energetic and gives me life!!

I love their music, and some of it does sound generic, but to be honest, I think when he hits it right it is amazing for Sailor Moon.
He is known to remix stuff, though and reuse it in other series.
Like Sailor Mars' "Flame Sniper" track in Eternal is just this reworked.
Not hating on it, but it does happen.

Wow good lord, starting at 0:45 it’s almost the same as flame sniper music. Totally unoriginal, how can he be allowed to plagiarize himself from a music done for another show ??… The music is great but it’s very disappointing.
