Anyone else think that Jupiter's last two attacks should have been switched? "Jupiter Coconut Cyclone" is such an unusual attack name, it sticks out like a sore thumb in the Infinity arc, but situate it amid all the jungle imagery of the Dream arc and it would fit right in. I get that Naoko wanted to give the Inners their own items in the Dream arc, and a laurel of oak leaves is an appropriate choice for Jupiter, but either she could have done the Inners' items concept in the Infinity arc, or she could have just given Jupiter a giant palm leaf fan instead. (I mean, I'm 99% sure the Leaves of Oak never appear after "Jupiter Dream" anyway, so what difference does it make what Jupiter's item is?)

Anyone else not understand why Chibimoon's eternal form looks nothing like Eternal Sailor Moon's? At the very least she should have a three tiered skirt, wings, and a crescent moon mark on her forehead. After all she is Neo Queen Serenity 's daughter and the future Sailor Moon.

Here's one: in the Makai tree arc when that Kenji guy had a little trickle of blood down his head and they immediately called an ambulance, how could he possibly have lost so much blood to need a transfusion already? Lol
I could understand him being in a critical state from hitting his head so hard, but blood transfusion? What!? XD

I actually really enjoy the filler arc a lot but that just strikes me as so goofy everytime lol.

Does anyone know what episode this is from? I don't recognize it off-hand.

The foreground (Sailor Moon) was from episode 79 (Artemis's Adventure: the Monster Animal Kingdom a.k.a. Dog Day for Artemis), but the background is completely different.

Screencap for a similar frame can be seen here.

I only know because I tried to edit the screenshot...and failed horribly.

People actually do bleed out very quickly, especially if the proper action is taken immediately on the person. One can infer that the injury was a lot more serious than visualized, but it was minimized in the actual animation.

Actually that's quite a good point, that they simplified the visuals for the injury. Probably would've gotten complaints from parents if it looked totally realistic.
Alrighty, I take it back. I didn't think about it that way. :)

They were called that, but then that earned them the derogatory nickname "Moonies" and they quickly abandoned it, leaving it float beyond the Fourth Wall of the Universe for us fans to reclaim. They wisely chose the sun as their next inspiration to avoid further ridicule.

One thing I wonder about S is why were the Witches 5 episodes so unbalanced? Lol. We had *so* many for Eudial and Mimete but then the rest all died in like 1 episode lol. They should've finished the first two off sooner so we could've seen the other 3 more.

R kind of did that too, where we got so many with Rubeus and Esmeraude that by the time we got to see Saphir and Demand they were dead very quickly. But at least with that it was because they needed to stretch the season longer so they wouldn't overtake the manga, whereas with the Witches 5 they easily could've divided the episodes more evenly between them.

You can't really do more than a two-parter for Cyprine and Ptilol, but they could have taken two episodes from Kaolinite, Eudial, and Mimete to give Tellu and Viluy an extra three episodes each.
That would've worked for me. Tellu and Viluy could have had some fun episodes, so it seemed a real shame to only have one each when Eudial and Mimete had so many.
The idol obsession and squeaky voice got old super fast. #controversial opinion *very aware that Mimete is super popular so I'll probably be hated now* lol;;;;

I agree with you that Cyprine and Ptilol wouldn't have worked to have extra, not unless they were severely downgraded which I wouldn't want.

Since the R movie is just a retread of the Doom Tree arc, and the SuperS movie a retread of its respective season, had Naoko not come up with the Princess Kaguya's Lover story, what would the S movie (as a retread of S) have been like? A quest for another magical talisman? Another apocalyptic threat? Another evil school run by a mad scientist?

The episode in SuperS Usagi becomes a Prima is high on my list of favorite episodes in the series lol.

Everything with Fish's Eye was great, and the "fight" was absolutely hilarious. When Tuxedo Mask came and did his routine and the monster misheard him and was like "Your name is Torpedo Ass?" I nearly spat out my tea.

This was a great example of filler done right XD (unlike the episodes with the author, the swordsman and the car fixing. Those were difficult to sit through but this one I pretty much wanted to watch it again as soon as it was done)

I also like the monsters talking in general lately, makes it more interesting. Episodes like in R when they're just shrieking FA LIOOOON is irritating and not as fun. (not a knock on R as a whole though since I actually do love it overall)

I'm thinking probably a talisman. One that would "leave" at the end (kind of like Ail and An with the tree), or would be used up and disappear in the fight.

I'm thinking it would be linked with Saturn since the other three outers had talismans. Besides being a piece of the glaive I wonder what it would be. Perhaps an object sort of like Rowena's diadem?
