How old are you?
I hope you have a supportive family. As a gay guy myself, I strongly recommend you to be 100% sure of your sexuality before telling your loved one. Being LGBT is unfortunately still a hard, hard road. I suggest going to a therapist in order to understand yourself better and figure out ways to deal with society and stuff. I'm 26 now, identify as gay since 15 and still learning how to deal with people!

Yeah, while there're professional queries & controversies over the current guidelines followed by gender therapists, I think it's still better to consult them than just deciding it by yourself (even after reading tons of literature about the subject on the net or in the library).
