Here's all the information that you need! The titles did not seem to include gekijouban, but as you'll see it was released in theaters in Japan and as a series internationally, although this was done in order to have an immediate release overseas, so t might not be the case with SME.

I was actually thinking it could also receive the Digimon Tri treatment (a TRItment if you will) and get released in an episodic format internationally, with an opening and ending sequence and episode titles. If anything, it could enhance CD sales and we know how Toei loves selling that merch.

I just found out about this 90 second preview of the new opening theme. Most likely it's the TV/Movie size intro. I'm not sue if this has already been posted, but there you go anyway: Personally, I loved it. It gives me a late 90s and also contemporary feel at the same time.
