Most people seem to think a Dark Endymion and a Dark Mercury are overkill. I don't so much. I really like the evil Endymion subplot because it deepens the aspects of tragedy in the Dark Kingdom story. I hope they keep it. It seems very plausible. Endymion is searching for his past so much that he has been moved to petty thievery. He may embrace it. Mercury was able to be corrupted because she had feelings of loneliness, etc. Endymion will be able to be corrupted because of his strong desire to know his past. And the Shitennou are getting to him faster than the princess. Although it would seem Zoisite wants him back and Kunzite wants him dead. I doubt Nephrite and Jadeite have their full memories.

If Endymion turns evil, I bet that we're down for some hardcore Endymion - Kunzite rivalry, similar to the anime. I also bet if he turns evil, Mercury won't stay evil for too long. My guess is that Mercury will be brought back when the princess is revealed, possibly healed by the ginzuishou. In that sense it's kind of a tease the writers give us as to how it would be would a character turn evil. That prepares the audience for Endymion as evil. And I would then suppose Endymion stays evil until the very end.

Having Usagi develop strong feelings for Mamoru by this point was a major plus move on the part of the writers. It makes you feel really sad when Mamoru has Hina, or when Endymion is evil. You might still emote were they not there, but the tragedy is more penetrating. And if anything it makes for plenty more cliffhanger endings.

Edit: I'm kind of curious to know Beryl's role in the past. If Kunzite feels like Endymion betrayed the people of Earth, then that means he was pro-war with the Moon. However, in past versions, Beryl was at the head of this war, corrupting the people of Earth under Metaria's influence. The issue here is that Kunzite also seems to show no allegiance to Beryl. Maybe he never trusted her then either? Maybe he had different reasons to want war?

Act 24 opions

Hi,purplestarz, thank you for question.

I will try to answer your question the best i can.In the manga for some reason that was not explain? It was not alowed for anyone to have contact between the Moon and the Earth. But Endymion and Serenity never really paid attention to that stupid rule.Thou Endymion knew that he was breaking the law by seeing Serenity. And since the live version is being draw from the manga? That is why i believe that it was not permitted for Endymion to be seeing Serenity. I could be wrong since
it is early in the story. But it would make a great plot device.

In the manga Kunztie did show a fondess for Serenity. But he did
take part on the attack of the Moon Kingdom, yes he was brainwash. So
maybe why he comes to his sense he will show that same fondess for
Serenity.

The reason i believe that he wants revenage against the prince.
Is the way the live version is being done. And Kunzite dose seem to have that noble apperance about him. And, the way he talks to Beryl, is what makes me think that he is not brainwash.I wonder if he ever talk to Endymion like that with no respect.

Hope that answer your question thank you for your remarks

That makes so much more sense, Sandra...

I agree with the whole Kunzite bit. He is very gallant and Tuxedo-like. I wonder what's really going on with him because he's the only one not under Beryl's thumb. I like it! I want him to kick Beryl out and rule the Dark Kingdom! Muahahahahaha!

And I get to be Mrs. Kunzite!

Now that Rei has learned to "trust" her fellow senshi (a tear), do you suppose that in Act 24 she might trust them enough to reveal that Minako and Venus are one and the same?

I'm looking forward to a scene where all five senshi can sit down togther and share their deepest, darkest secrets. A kind of sailor-suited group therapy session, if you will, where the revelations come thick and fast...

MARS: "Hello, my name is Rei, and I haven't bothered telling anyone that Venus is really Minako."

*gasps*

VENUS (holds hand up): "My bad."

MOON (a few minutes later, after she has stopped jumping up and down): "Hello, my name is Usagi, and I'm in love with the Shibster, except now I find out he's engaged to a woman with improbably beautiful eyes."

*gasps*

DARKURY: "Hello, my name is Dark Ami, and I knew the Shibster was engaged to the woman with the improbably beautiful eyes, but I didn't tell you because I'm evil..."

*gasps*

DARKURY: "But Mako-chan knew too!"

*Sharp intake of breath* (the whole gasp thing was getting old)

JUPITER: "Well, ok, sure I knew that the Shibster was engaged to the woman with the improbably beautiful eyes, but I didn't tell you precisely because I'm not evil. Maybe I care too much! Did you ever think about that?!?"

*stunned silence*

JUPITER (quickly, trying to divert attention): "Oh and Tuxedo Kamen is really Chiba Mamoru."

*gasp city*

LUNA: "Well, it's good to get these things out in the open, don't you think? Thank god there are some things in life we can rely on though."

USAGI: "Like what?"

LUNA: "Oh, I don't know. The taste of that first mouse in the morning, the joy of chasing a ball of wool around the room and ummm... oh yes, that Venus... err... Minako here, will always be our princess."

*Venus coughs*

*Cue Moon cycle and Act 25 preview*

Improbably beautiful eyes? HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! HA! :D

Seriously though, I agree. I think the climax of PGSM will be carried over to both episodes, 24 and 25. Maybe Minako and Mamorus' alter egos will be revealed in 24. Which would leave the awakening of the Princess and the healing of Mercury for 25.

 I must admit that I really get "hooked" on those cliff hanger endings that we've seen so often in this series in the last 10 weeks or so! That being said, the first thing I want to see in Act 24 is what has Nephrite done to Dark Mercury (if anything)?

Darkury is going to lay some smack down. I can't wait. I was just eh so-so about Hama-san acting, but she really rocks as a villain.

I think it would've been cool if they'd altered the opening credits and like, had chisaki introduced as dark mercury for a couple of eps, eh, what do I know, lol.
That's actually an interesting idea! They should have done that!

 I agree that I think it's time to be rid of Nephrite (worthless, boot licking lackey); being we're about to view Act 24 this weekend, I doubt it will be a TEMPORARY "sleep", however! Jadeite and Zoicite were "gone" for 8-10 weeks each, I doubt we have anything near that many episodes left in this story arc!
