This episode was a big letdown. I didn't hate it, but I didn't like it either. The second half was slightly better than the first.

How did Mamoru get to the hospital? And why did he need to go, anyway? Wasn't he already healed? Nothing happened between him and the princess? He just left?

Where the hell were the senshi in the beginning? Why can't they remember? I got annoyed with Venus yet again when she left. Why did she go? The secret was out, there was no reason!

The tambourines were funny. Stupid, but funny. Of course, they're just to sell the toys.

The flashback scenes were stupid and pointless! Endymion's huge shoulder pads bouncing when he was running was stupid! Most of this episode was stupid!

Good things- Makoto using the tambourine to hail the cab. Hina breaking up with Mamoru. That's all I can think of.

Bad things- Everything else, but most importantly- MAMORU LEAVING FOR LONDON! What a #&$&%*%&!!! He knows Usagi likes him, Hina just broke up with him, there was no reason for him to go! How is he going to get back now? I don't think Hina's dad will be very happy. And if he ever did come back, where would he stay? Motoki looked very cute when Mamoru was leaving though, like he was going to cry. Or maybe that's just me. It was good to see him without the scarf.

I am so [BLEEP]ing pissed off that I have to wait two weeks for the next episode and it's just Sailor Luna!!!! I can't take it!!! Explodes....

woah... things just gotten more explosive. Will people agree with me if I said that the scriptwriters had too much booze and magicked this scrappy episode out of "DEAD EPISODES"-land?

I forgot to comment on the CG! The CG done for the Moon Kingdom exceeded my expectations... very well done. Technical wise, the zome overlaying with the background was almost perfect, making it magically surreal. On the other hand... the CG for the destruction of Moon Kingdom... they definitely pulled that one out from Power Rangers. The anti-liasing and fogging definitely destroyed the CG, if any attempts were made to redeem it.

To divert some heat from Jyoji and Miyuu, comments on Sailor Whoever's fuku?

Don't get me started on the terrible wig and color scheme. Growls...

This episode was much more entertaining to watch in fast forward. I'm going to try rewind next.

There's no part of me that thinks Mamoru is out of the show and I can't believe anyone is actually thinking that. Of course some people actually thought Venus was the Princess so I guess there's just no sense in some people anymore.
Call me crazy, but did someone actually say, "Mamoru is now out of the show?" I don't remember anyone saying that, because that would just be too stupid.

Sorry to anyone who said that--but it's still stupid.

From this thread:
Mamoru left of London? Geez. Like talk about anti-climatic...I mean, Mamoru just freakin' "died" for Usagi, you'd think he'd *realize* something! LOL I mean, how are they gonna get their relationship on track? Their relationship has just met it's climax and *poof* Mamoru disappears. It just like lost all it's momentum.
But overall... nothing happened except Mamoru left and that is a bad thing!!
I am mucho-angry that they'd just dump him out of the show like that. Unless all those plane shots were just a big joke to make us think he left, and actually the shot of him on the plane was him seated and he got off and left BEFORE the plane went off in a moment of brilliant clarity (WHICH I DOUBT), he's going to be gone for a while. <-- this, ladies and gentlement, is called clinging to a hope
MAMORU LEFT FOR LONDON! HE LEFT, WHICH MEANS I MIGHT NOT SEE SHIBUE JYOJI FOR A LONG TIME, SO WTF WTF WTF?!! IT'S BAD ENOUGH THAT THERE IS NO EPISODE NEXT WEEK, BUT NOW I HAVE TO SUFFER UNTIL MAMORU GETS DONE WITH LONDON?! HOW DARE YOU TEMPORARILY WRITE THIS GORGEOUS MAN OFF THE SHOW?!
Well, it looks like it's back to a kiddy show for PGSM. (unless as someone posted above, Mamoru got *off* the plane)
From the act 27 preview thread:
That's DISAPPOINTING ! Usagi and Mamoru's romance is OVER!?
Oh, Puu. Mamoru went to London. And all I have to look forward to in two weeks is Sailor Luna. Not very happy about her. I am hoping to be pleasantly surprised.
It's going to be no Mamoru for a WHILE. If Sailor Luna is the whole second part, I think we can expect to see Mamoru back in action realistically with the beginning of the next season, which is September right?

Believe me I'm as pissed as you are about him leaving for London and being replaced by some kid in a weird costume. (Not like a dude in a tux and hat isn't weird.... but he's not a cat-incarnate).

Sailor Luna is going to majorly derail the show's main plot for a long time, much like a lot of the anime's fillers, I'm guessing. I don't know if I'm going to stick around to watch it all as avidly until Mamoru comes back, I dunno. Kids fighting youmas lost its appeal when I was..... 12.

I don't think any of those people, especially myself, meant that he was off the show permanently. I think they all meant he probably won't be on that much in the next few weeks while they do the Sailor Luna storyline.

They showed him sitting in the plane while it was in the air... this leaves no hope of him getting off before it goes. >.> I hope he jumps off with a parachute! XD

When Sailorluna was posing at the end and looked like she was about to take on Sailormercury, all I could think was how much better it would be if it was Chibimoon...

Sounds like it was as bad as I thought it would be. I guess waiting the year or two until I get to see this ep isn't going to be much of a problem.

It cant be Sailor Luna she has to be Chibiusa. Well maybe they ade some changes to the carachter. Like what if she appears a bit sooner since Momoru travelled. And if it was luna she would have changed back to a cat not a human.

But i didnt likw that Hina teard HER ticket. She would have been nicer if she'd teard up Mamoru's ticket

And why didn't Sailor mOON HAVE THE MOON THINGY ON HER FOREHEAD since Venus had it whenevre she transformed

I think one of the reasons why they don't remember anything yet, and why the history of the Moon Kingdom wasn't told in its entirety is because they weren't gonna leave Mercury out of this. I think once Mercury is healed they would start to remember...

As far as Mamoru leaving, it wouldn't have been appropriate if he went to Usagi after being dumped by Hina. Even though he wasn't really in love with Hina, Mamoru knew Hina ever since childhood, and now she suddenly left just like that. He probably needs time to think things over. It would have been awkward to see him go back to Usagi I think... :)

They did NOT just write Mamoru out of the plot indefinitely in order to put Sailor Luna in. They did NOT.

Plus Jupiter is getting majorly shafted. She needs a big awakening moment like Mars, not a freaking tambourine. Can we say MARKETING?? I think we can!
ROFLOL Oh my god, MC. That was classic!! *dies laughing on the floor*

You're so right, but...COULDN'T HE HAVE BEEN THINKING ABOUT IT IN TOKYO?! ;_;

Maybe we'll get shots of him in London (since this show has that kind of money and all [/sarcasm] [/hope]). >.<

If Artemis left the tambourines at the secret karaoke room, that means at least Artemis has been getting into the room right? Maybe Artemis and Venus have been sneaking in.

Sorry the only relevance to that quote was the tambourine thing. Now I digress.

I really don't like their whole "We're not fighting with you until you have all your memories"-business. That's silly. It makes sense if Venus is the decoy. Actually, my current theory is that that attitude is just to distance Venus from the other senshi because she doesn't have much time left. It will be harder for everyone if she actually hangs out and creates friendships with them.

I actually had a thought though. She has under 6 months to live right? The Dark Kingdom will be done in about that time yeah? A mechanism for her healing could simply be that she dies fighting Metaria and is brought back by Sailor Moon. Except in that instance it will be more of a "reincarnation," and as such, she won't have any cancer!

Wow... that was just kind of.... confusing all over... Maybe it'd be better if I had translations, but the begining, with Mamoru going poof, and them all magically being in a new fancy marble ballroom that seems to have no point other than it has fancier lighting than the hall they were in before... and the screwy mixing of flashbacks on Earth and the Moon... it was all crazy! And Venus'n'Artie skipped town pretty quick... c'mon, would it *kill* Miss Aino Minako-sama to go karaoke with Usagi for half an hour and make her think she's died and gone to heaven? =P Oh well... Poor Usagi not remembering her Princessdom... I think it might be an evil trick of the writers, so tat Mamoru remembers their tragic fate, and Usagi doesn't, so she doesn't understand his concerns. Instead, Usagi thinks that Mamoru is still faithful to hina, and so she's willing to let him go off to London so that they can have a shot at happiness together... But Hina was good little girl and broke up with him... but he still thinks it's best to go to London because he now has star-crossed lover paranoia and doesn't want Usagi to get hurt... So what is his poor little Usa-ko going to think when she finds out Hina broke up with him and he still went! Some of you might think they were trying to cleanly rid Mamoru of Hina, but I think this is all leading to more angst!

On less serious notes... yay for the return of Shingo and Ikuko-on-speed! I missed those guys. Still no Kenji-papa... Ahh, the mysterious Kenji-papa... of course... if he married the live action Ikuko.... he could be a very scary guy... Let's keep him a mystery... >.>

Zoi got to walk around a lot in front of the camera... his hair looks so pretty in back... I just want to rip out the ponytail holder and let him work his bishie magic... >.o what kind of sick fangirl has hanging around these forums made me into? x_x

Usagi think the tambourine was for karaoke was cute! Makoto hailing the cab with it was silly, and her holding it right before she transforms, but not while she did her hand signals and transformation sequence, and then holding it again was... inconsistant? The senshi don't have to lug those things around all the time from now on, do they?

Sailor Luna... is very cute, yes.... but she de-seriousizes things quite a bit? From the preview... it looked funny... did she not correct Makoto on a grammar mistake? If they can keep her cute like that then this could work... But I don't think it should become a regular part of the series... Go on Luna, fix up Darkury and then go back to being a kitty. How can you and Artie become lovers when you're prancing around as a 10 year old with blue hair half the time? We have to think of Diana. Awww... Diana would have to be a little talking plushie... a talking beanie baby? Ahhh! O.O Anyway... who put the Luna-kid on the display shelf in a toy store? Or was Plushie Luna just hanging out with her friends...? Aww... now I gotta wait two weeks... oh well... I'm still clinging to hope that seeing this episode with translations will be like seeing an almost completely new episode!

That's silly. They keep making that "6 months" longer. First minako says 6 months and then that doctor says it again, a good 2 months later. She doesn't have cancer and she isn't going to die.
