This twitter user appears to be pointing out that some animators from the 90s anime have returned for the new Crystal season, if google translate is anything to go by.

Does anyone have a way to find out who the highlighted animators are?
I think he's pointing out that some of the staff who did the Sound Effects in the '90s anime have returned to Crystal.

^^ that's what they're saying. I also believe they were referring to the stock footage sounds being the same as the 90s anime as well as the animations in the second sentence.

Feel free to cauldron this if I cross a line in regards to religion/politics but did anyone else get a Scientology vibe from the level thing?

The Death Busters are also a cult that mix religion and technology, place a high emphasis on education, and have to do with aliens and thetans Hoste.
If Hollywood were to produce a live-action version of the arc, they should cast Tom Cruise as the professor.

Great episode.

I still wish Mars Snake Fire was a bit more dynamic... more than her just turning around, reaching forward and releasing a messy version of Fire Soul. But I LOVE the part where she 'ignites' and her eyes go berserk for a second.

Tom Cruise is a midget Doctor Tomoe.
That could be a problem, but then he could wear elevator shoes plus using camera angle tricks, to offset his shortcoming.

Agreed on both accounts! Going into it I was afraid they were going to have to cut out a lot of scenes from the manga that developed the characters. Thankfully they were able to fit pretty much everything in, only omitting minor parts (such as Usagi talking about sharing their identities with Chibi Usa), while still being able to expand on the Eudial fight.

My only piece of constructive criticism is the same. I also felt like Mars Snake Fire's level of choreography and creativity was disappointing and not on par with Coconut Cyclone and Wink Chain Sword. I was hoping for something more along the lines of the R movie (when they fought on Fiore's asteroid), where Mars spun around several times expanding her pool of snake fire....with it slithering all over on the ground after being shot out before either wrapping around, bit, or swallowing its victim whole  .

Yeah that was really cool!! BTW the R movie was the best anime movie of all time.

She does transform into a medusa type daimon which is unique amongst the witches 5. Mimete, Viluy, Cyprine & Ptilol never transforms. Tellu does turn into a monster with multiple tendrils.
Thanks for the reminder. :) I guess that explains why they left it out then. To be consistent with the other Witches, and due to them not getting used again in the Infinity Labyrinth battle.
If they want to be consistent with the other Witches, then they should get creative and come up with monster forms for the other Witches!

Maybe they will update it like the Venus Love Me Chain and Sparkling Wide Pressure, true the attacks looked alike their 90s version but it still has its uniqueness to them

Does anyone have a way to find out who the highlighted animators are?
Sound Effects: Yasuyuki Konno (Swara Pro) - He was one of 3 people who was involved with the sound effects in the 90s anime and was around for all of it.

Music Selection: Makiko Kayahara - She was the sound director for episodes 1-103 of the 90s anime and had also returned for seasons 1 & 2 of Crystal.

Not sure who the third person highlighted is, could someone translate that one?

Seems she was involved with two of the movies and the Ami special and was also around for seasons 1 & 2 of Crystal.

That's what I would have preferred for them to do. But I can't fault them for thinking it's too trouble designing 3 new monsters that are just going to get killed off within a few minutes anyway. XD

Lol you're right on that, plus Viluy, Mimete, Cyprine & Ptilol would have no time to change into ones as their defeats are different compared to Eudial and Tellu where they have the chance to change into daimon forms. Only Cyprine and Ptilol will last for 2 acts (save Eudial who was introduced and had an extra scene in Act 27, part 2).

This episode was awsome. It had it goofy moments, and action. And the kiss. P-:

I liked Rei's snake attack alot. She looked posessed for a moment. :ninja:
