2 words --> AYAKA + GORGEOUS

I completely retract previous statements that she isn't as pretty as the other 4 girls. Minako just looked incredible! And I'm in the minority here.... I really liked her dress! I thought it was a sexy "little black dress" made cuter with the gold ribbon. I loved it! *sticks tongue out*

I also liked the new Dark Kingdom set. Stairs are awesome.

Hrm, I'm surprised that Beryl supports Zoicite. I wondered how Zoicite got away with all his carrying-on.... now I know why! Hmm... in this way, I think I'm gonna side with Kunzite and say, it may be "loyalty" to not let Mamoru get his memories back...

I'm confused about Mio... so I'll just keep my mouth shut.

In lighter news, I thought Usagi doing the "training" was hilarious. She's so cute! At the end of 29 when they're announcing the calendar and she's poking her head around to look at it.... she just cracks me up. So cute!

I'd forgotten about Usagi and Minako's shopping trip. I was like... how does Minako explain knowing her name? That's the first time she's called any of them by name, isn't it? I wonder if she even knows their names? Or if she's just not referring directly to them because she's not in with the group yet?

*a little disappointed that Usagi didn't learn Venus' identity*

But it was such a good act that I can't help but overlook it. Nice! ^_^

And I hate to say it, but Mio sounded good. That is, if that's actually her. Although the song sounds kinda boring, her singing was pretty nice. >_< SOOO NOT COOL TO ACTUALLY LIKE HER IN SOME FORM! >_<

I think Queen Beryl is supporting Zoicite because she wants Master Endymion Back, and not.. Mamoru. (Since Endymion and Mamoru are pretty different, despite the fact that they're the same person.) Then when she gets her lover boy back, she can do her whammy on him with Materia majikku. Then Neeko will be happy. Oh yes, she will. <3

You know, I think the casting for Mio wasn't so bad. Sure she looks absolutely hideous when she smiles, but when she's serious she's not half bad... if you squint. She looks best when she's evil and it's so fun hating her.

Finally I love LA Minako. Sure I thought she was kinda cool and her tricks on Artemis and Nephlite were funny, but she just never seemed like Minako. I got over Ami's hair, Motoki's new personality, and the fact that Rei is nothing like her anime counterpart. But I still missed psycho ditzy Minako. Now Usagi's enough of a ditz for me and I'm happy with this Minako. I just loved that line at the end: "Yes, she is (nice). But I'm not. Don't play games with that girl again."

She was always so stiff in previous episodes but hat was such a great pop star performance. And she looked gorgeous in that dress.

Other random things:

Usagi was seriously adorable when she was bouncing around, listening to Minako's song. But when she transformed... what did they do to her bangs?! She was always my fav transformed but her hair isn't looking too great. :grey:

I loved the talk between Kunzite and Beryl. More blatant hinting about Beryl's obsession with Endymion and more Kunzy cockiness.

Yay, Act 31, a Makoto centered episode! Though I don't think she's been gyped that badly. Personally, I thought her intro episode was the best one. Rei's was boring, Ami's was nice since PGSM was still a novelty to me when I saw it, and Minako didn't have one. Kunzite's comes a close second (who remembers Shin?).

Lastly, where are my guys??? After last week's, er, exposure, this was a sad Shibby ep. And no Nephy again?? Sure I used to hate him but after he saved Merc I kinda did a complete 180 and now I want to see him again!

I liked this episode! And I agree with what everyone said - one would really just love to hate Mio! I don't want her to disappear anytime soon, but only because it gives me a reason to keep imagining that we're beating her up in the ring, no-holds-barred.

Her acting bothers me a little, though. It's like she's always smiling, even when she isn't supposed to. Even when she does that "Oh, it isn't Usagi's fault!" and all that, and her trying to look upset and such, I still feel as if she's smiling. Then again, maybe that's what the director really wanted. She is a faker, after all.

Is anybody else bothered by the fact that Usagi lent Mio the cellphone Luna gave her, and even left her with it for a while?

I loved Minako in this ep! It was especially warming to see her gently smile just before the opening notes of "Romance" began - I felt as if she was reassuring Usagi with it, even though Usagi probably wasn't aware of it. And when she pointed at Mio... I cheered the entire time! Go, Mina-chan, go! Show Mio who's boss!

Seriously, I would assume that it would just work as a cell phone for anyone else. I would have liked to have had Mio have more of a reaction to the phoe though... either a "Ha ha, I have your magic phone" or "What the hell is this tacky pink plastic piece of crap" Though it would probably be "This is the coolest phone ever! I must get one! And so should you, kids!"

I still think Mio could be Beryl, but I just had a thought. Maybe Mio is remotely controlled by Nephrite. Think about it. We haven't seen him for a while. Maybe Jadeite is secretly helping him gain favor with Beryl again and eventually take on Kunzite.

You know what... Mio actually looked kinda cute in some moments of this act. I was like.... hm, she's really not as bad-looking as people say she is. I do wish she'd do something else with her hair though. S P L I T E N D S!!! And that whole I'm-an-Asian-girl-I-like-to-plaster-my-hair-to-my-head look is not working here....

Usagi is getting stronger, yay! I'm so proud! (Like she's my kid or something?) I still think she looks so different when she's dressed as Moon than her civilian form. Must be the different coloring because of her wig and her make-up. *shakes head* I don't know.

I've said this before in other acts, but please stop with the orange lipstick!!! */flames!*

I love Usagi! She's the nicest person in the world! Shouldn't she realize by now, however, that this Mio is only interested in hurting her and making her unhappy!
As for Mio,I think she has really added a lot of tension to the show! A competent, devious, DISLIKABLE villainess; just what the show needed with Mercury back to being good!
I agree with what another member posted earlier: the Sailor Moon-youma battle seemed oddly out of place in this act! I had thought we'd be seeing something from Mio while Usagi was away, but that didn't happen!

I really want her to be around more. Motoki is so adorbaly cute and funny. I wish I could jump through the screen and show him what he's been missing hanging out with turtles for so long. ::ahem::
Uh where exactly were Kunzite and Jadeite? If they havea whole (temple?) to chill in why is Beryl stuck in a dinky cave.
If Mars and Mercury have awakened, why couldn't the catch the petals?
Why oh why can't Minako put effort into her lipsynching :lol:

The bra commercial was very disturbing. I pray that dolphins don't jump from one boob to the other when I'm not paying attention.

Mio truely does rock. She just does. Yeah, I can sort of see why people want her to just die and jump out of a plane and stuff, but where's the fun in that. Let her and Minako duke it out or something. Mio is really doing wonders for the show here, and I'm loving her for it, and I also absolutely love her little tactics to ruin Usagi's life and to split up the senshi. Also, that song Mio was singing, I loved it, and I really think she can sing. Honestly, she sounded better to me then most of the other senshi.

Ayaka looked amazing... except for that dress. It really was... bleah. Like everyone is saying, trash bag. Her singing perfomance has improved slightly with the hand movements, but I still can't help but think Ayaka is being too stiff. She really needs to put more life into her perfomance. I'd just find it hard that someone who gave off that kind of performance would become an idol. Let's see some charisma!

The oversized 80's clothing is currently in style in Japan and Hong Kong. Minako, being the fashionable idol, dressed very appropriatly I think. I love her dress.

I think that if Minako would have told Usagi that she was Sailorvenus, Usagi would have trusted her instead of Mio.

And it's clearly shown during her performance that she has a Jewelry Star Bracelet. :roll:
