This episode's okay.. the most touching scene is the scene between Ami and her mom. The scene of Rei and her dad should be touching as well ne? but weirdly, I don't feel touched at all... maybe because I don't quite get what they are talking about?

I don't think I can stand anymore of Mamoru's OI ... Although it is good, due to the fact that he is not liking the things Mio does, but it is just not enough! I would love to see him burn her ass! At least it showed some action of his resistence towards her. I HATE MIO! She is soooo lame and low by pushing herself towards a guy she barely knows! HMPH!

By the way you described it, I think they handled both conflicts the right way. Ami and her mother have always loved each other, so their scenes would have more emotion to them. Rei and her father have a more antagonistic relationship so I didn't expect overwelmingly warm feelings from them as they let their guard down. I feel that the mended photo at the end (as well as Rei's more upbeat attitude) was a very touching ending.

 I know there have been funnier, more exciting, more ominous, more dramatic, and more important acts in the series, but this was one of the out and out NICEST act to see for me of all of them to date!
I liked the way Rei and Ami bonded in the karaoke room, how they came to terms with their respective parents, and how Usagi, Motoki, and especially Makoto tried to help them along from the "sidelines"!
I thought Rei and Ami were just WONDERFUL in this Act! The "party" in the secret room was sweet, and I loved the pics of them as little girls!
I'm a little surprised the producers and director of the series messed up the graveyard scene in this Act! It looks NOTHING like the grave site we saw in Act 17! Still, a thoroughly enjoyable episode, AND a VERY ominous final scene! You just know that Mio is up to NO good here!

They didn't "accidentally" make it different, they felt that getting the flowerbed for the Youma to do its thing was more important then visual continuity with Act 17 (which a lot of people wouldn't notice, I certainly didn't remember that her mothers grave was in a paved courtyard not a grass lawn 4 months ago).

Well, at least in act 35 we can get back to some story. *hint hint cough cough* I'm glad to see that Rei and Ami are ok now, and have resolved issues with their parents. The only real thing I have to say about this episode is...the part with Rei and Ami at Crown, playing with the phones and the pillow fight and such...was ALL for the sole purpose of the fanboys! (and fangirls too) Catering to the fanboy/girl's desires. So silly. But yes, it was all excessively cute.

Oh yes...DAMMIT, why couldn't Mamoru have run over Mio! That would have been so awesome! If he had any idea of how evil that girl is, I would hope he would have just accelerated and squished her. Man, that would be so great...curses.

Can't wait for act 35. Zoisite and the knife...ooh baby. :D So sexxxxy.

You mean Ami's mom? I think Tsutsui Mariko is a very lovely woman. I hope I can look that good when I'm even close to being her age.
Ami's mom is pretty, seeing as her birthdate is 62年10月13日.

:P He he! I have to admit I just "re-watched" Act 17 a few days ago! If I hadn't, I highly doubt I'd have noticed the changed grave site myself!
That's a very good theory you have on just WHY they decided to have the grave in a somewhat "greener" spot in this most recent act!

Funniest Moment:

ah, pooh. I was hoping Motoki-kun would get this one. I loved his little scene where I was wrapping the muffler around his stuffed turtle, and Makoto walked up on him. I laughed so hard. It was too cute. I watched it like 3 times.
Yep, definately agree with that "wtf" moment. I loved Rei's reaction when she set it all in front of her.

Kitagawa Keiko is either being told to act differently, or she's becoming more comfortable with her role. She seemed a lot looser in this episode. Like when she walked into the Crown room and just flopped down on the couch, hehe. And, yes, I loved the little party scene. At first, I thought it was going to be really corny from watching the preview in act. 33, but it was really cute.

For the ending...to borrow a phrase from the movie "Under Cover Brother" ...."should have run her narrow #$% over." She's either a) Finally been released from Queen B's power. b) Finally making her move on Mamoru.

Well, Neko (Hehe. Neeko, Neko. Gwaha.) I thought that scene was more cute than it was funny. Besides, Motoki's won so many awards for Funniest Moment. Gotta share it with the others. :3 Kwaaaa.

Yeah, that's true. He has one a lot. ^_^ And that seen was more "cute" than funny. *sigh* if by the end of PGSM, Makochan still doesn't want him, I swear I'll fly to Japan and take him myself. (yeah, I noticed our names, too, haha ^_~V)

I have a question.

When Hino Rei and Mizuno Ami were partying in assorted costumes one of them (Hino Rei I think) was wearing a blue outfit with a silver and red banner on it with some written Japanese (approx time 7:41).

What does the banner read in English?
