speaking of which, does Mamoru even realize she's an idol? He seems totally oblivious to pop culture, ne?
ROFL! I can just imagine him going, "Minako--who?"

----

Going to try a new effect with the awards, again. Act 33's awards were okay, except the last few bugged the heck out of me. Grr.

Like I said earlier, I didn't like this episode as much as I did with Act 33. Some of the parts bored me a little bit (when I watched it again with the transcript) so I had to do a little fastforwarding here and there, but none the less, it was a great subplot and had a wonderful theme to it.

Without furthur ado:

Act 34 Awards!
This week's awards are brought to you by: Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi!

Hotties Of the Week:

At first it was going to be Keiko again, but after that dress up scene, I had to bring in Chisaki. Keiko and Chisaki were unbelievably hot this episode. They need to do Ami's hair a lot more than it usually is, because she looks so FREAKING awesome when they do something with her hair. (I'm sure you all enjoyed Ami riding that whale, ne ne ne?) But yes, it was no doubt these two stole the show today.

Best Shibby Moment:

Ahh, yes, back to the old 1 minute of screen time. (But hey, it's one HOT minute. Ohohoho.) Although Shibby was looking all sexy and hot when he was angsting it up, I picked the "Oi! Oi!" scene because I just thought it was too hilarious. (In a hot and sexy way, of course.) Mmm. But dear Shibby, you need to get a little haircut to trim that mullet growing behind you.

Funniest Moment:

Omigosh, Ami cracked me up when she was riding that whale! It was just so random and out of no where! A treat for all you ecchi Hama lovers. *pokes*

Cutest Moment:

The whole dress-scene was too FREAKING adorable, but I was going to pick dresses of each that I thought were the cutest, but I thought that the animal roaring scene was TOO CUTE FOR WORDS! Aww man, Rei's face was so cute, and Ami's little "It wasn't supposed to be funny...." look was adorable. Why are these girls so adorable? *shake fist*

WTF of the Week:

Makoto is a frigging maniac, is what she is. How the HECK did she make all that food so fast? O_O It looks so damn good, though. Made me really hungry... but still! OMGWTFBBQ~!~!

Saddest Moment:

Whoever played little Rei rocks. Her acting in this episode just really got me. Especially when she was going "Papa? Papa?!" it just tore my heart! Her crying in the entire episode (and last) was very believable and just ripped me a part like crazy! It'd be so sad to watch your mother die, and not have your father there. Aghghh!

Coolest Moment:

Undoubtedly when the Senshi attacked with their new power ups at the same time. Yes, I'm a sucker for CG-effects, especially when they're all flashy and bright! ^^ It was interesting to see Mercury use her "tractor beam" as an attack, but whatever floats her boat!

Over all thoughts: Like I said, this episode wasn't as good as the last one, but still, it was a great way to end off this little subplot. It was great how they didn't make Rei all of a sudden forgive him, but at least now she's letting her heart slowly open up to him. And Ami... good for her for standing up to her mom! And yay for her mom understanding! I also thought it was absolutely adorable how Motoki let Makoto stay and made her food, and how he wrapped that muffler around the turtle. I wish they'd get together soon! Motoki's such a nice guy!

Act 35, ROXXORZ MY BOXXORZ PLZ KTHX.

Keiko-chan was definitely hot in that scene with Chisaki. I actually liked how Chisaki looked with that first get-up; the hair and the clothes.

And yes, I would have loved to be the whale, har har har. ^_^

I love Motoki, I'm so glad he still likes her and isn't bitter or anything. And it's nice to know he didn't shove the scarf into a um...drawer...or...something. *crosses fingers in hopes that Motoki and Makoto get together*

You know, it'd be funny if Makoto decided to transform with her phone when he snuck the food into the room...sorta like how in the manga Motoki found out about the senshi. Actually that wouldn't be funny, it'd be friggin awesome, that's what it would be.

Maybe I am not the first person to notice this but the Risa Hino's grave has been moved since we first saw it in act 17! I've got pictures of it just so you all can see. I think they kept the same headstone though ^_^

Maybe the one in 34 isn't even her mother's cemetery. After all, Rei was still mad at him, and she suggested the cemetery. Maybe it was just another part of the church. I've noticed the the writers haven't forgotten details at the amazing rate that other shows do. But I guess they aren't perfect.

Nah same grave he looks right at it and it says Risa Hino in big letters and I think it has dates!! those would be intersting to know. Maybe we can start a rei timeline! lol just kiddin. As far as it costing money you have to remember it wasn't an actual grave (or at least I hope not!!!) but rather a staraphome headstone that anyone could probably pick up.

Motoki needs to get with Makoto already..or me, cuz I'd treat him right. He's so adorably sweet and sexy.

Oh and the episode was good too. My one peeve was Zoisite's wig. For goodness sake someone color the man's sideburns or make it so the wig covers them. That's been bothering me since forever.

- Too bad they couldnt film the graveyard scene at "St. Juuban"... it would've been cool to see the priest again and some interaction with Rei's dad...

- Rei's mom is a MILF!

- no Minako again -_-;; and there wasnt any Usagi until like halfway through... I was starting to think they were actually gonna have a Sailormoon episode without Sailormoon o.O;;

- Makoto + Motoki rules! They gotta have a double date with Usagi and Mamoru soon... it'd be so jokes to see the [BLEEP] Motoki would pull

- Mio gets better every episode!! I <3 her cheesy villian intro music

- I've said it before and I'll say it again... the cell phone owns!!!!!!!! The teletia duel was so so... um... like damn I needed to watch it twice before I could move on and see the rest of the episode. :P Going thru I thought for sure AAOAHs are goin to Keiko for her "Ms. Hancock" and to Chisaki for "Free my Willy"... but then this scene happened...

AAOAH!! - This look is like... "I raided the cookie jar before dinner"... or "I listed my goldfish as a dependent"... or more simply: "I was naughty and I liked it."

You mean Ami's mom? I think Tsutsui Mariko is a very lovely woman. I hope I can look that good when I'm even close to being her age.

By the way, smallfry, that's a very, uh, interesting banner. *lol*

Mako's food looked soooo good. Gah!

And the phone war was awesome! I was hoping a bit for more of Ami's weird outfits but you know :P I also noticed that Rei stopped only storing "useful" outfits.

I must say I really love the use of the phones. Better than the pen or wrist watches. The cell phones come in so handy!

Furthermore, I'm just itching for Mamoru to call Usagi, "Usako."
