speaking of which, does Mamoru even realize she's an idol? He seems totally oblivious to pop culture, ne?
ROFL! I can just imagine him going, "Minako--who?"

Going to try a new effect with the awards, again. Act 33's awards were okay, except the last few bugged the heck out of me. Grr.
Like I said earlier, I didn't like this episode as much as I did with Act 33. Some of the parts bored me a little bit (when I watched it again with the transcript) so I had to do a little fastforwarding here and there, but none the less, it was a great subplot and had a wonderful theme to it.
Without furthur ado:
Act 34 Awards!
This week's awards are brought to you by: Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi!
Hotties Of the Week:
At first it was going to be Keiko again, but after that dress up scene, I had to bring in Chisaki. Keiko and Chisaki were
unbelievably hot this episode. They need to do Ami's hair a lot more than it usually is, because she looks so FREAKING awesome when they do something with her hair. (I'm sure you all enjoyed Ami riding that whale, ne ne ne?) But yes, it was no doubt these two stole the show today.
Best Shibby Moment:
Ahh, yes, back to the old 1 minute of screen time. (But hey, it's one HOT minute. Ohohoho.) Although Shibby was looking all sexy and hot when he was angsting it up, I picked the "Oi! Oi!" scene because I just thought it was too hilarious. (In a hot and sexy way, of course.) Mmm. But dear Shibby, you need to get a little haircut to trim that mullet growing behind you.
Funniest Moment:
Omigosh, Ami cracked me up when she was riding that whale! It was just so random and out of no where! A treat for all you ecchi Hama lovers. *pokes*
Cutest Moment:
The whole dress-scene was too FREAKING adorable, but I was going to pick dresses of each that I thought were the cutest, but I thought that the animal roaring scene was TOO CUTE FOR WORDS! Aww man, Rei's face was so cute, and Ami's little "It wasn't supposed to be funny...." look was adorable. Why are these girls so adorable? *shake fist*
WTF of the Week:
Makoto is a frigging maniac, is what she is. How the HECK did she make all that food so fast? O_O It looks so damn good, though. Made me really hungry... but still! OMGWTFBBQ~!~!
Saddest Moment:
Whoever played little Rei rocks. Her acting in this episode just really got me. Especially when she was going "Papa? Papa?!" it just tore my heart! Her crying in the entire episode (and last) was very believable and just ripped me a part like crazy! It'd be so sad to watch your mother die, and not have your father there. Aghghh!
Coolest Moment:
Undoubtedly when the Senshi attacked with their new power ups at the same time. Yes, I'm a sucker for CG-effects, especially when they're all flashy and bright! ^^ It was interesting to see Mercury use her "tractor beam" as an attack, but whatever floats her boat!
Over all thoughts: Like I said, this episode wasn't as good as the last one, but still, it was a great way to end off this little subplot. It was great how they didn't make Rei all of a sudden forgive him, but at least now she's letting her heart slowly open up to him. And Ami... good for her for standing up to her mom! And yay for her mom understanding! I also thought it was absolutely adorable how Motoki let Makoto stay and made her food, and how he wrapped that muffler around the turtle. I wish they'd get together soon! Motoki's such a nice guy!
Act 35, ROXXORZ MY BOXXORZ PLZ KTHX.
