PGSM, SeraMyu, the anime -- what have you! :P

I'm just curious, really. A friend and I have been going through the Cloverway dubs of S and SuperS and we've been having a blast with them! We love Mina and Rini's voice actress, but everyone else is just so bad it's hilarious. Not to mention the scripts that were written for these episodes -- TOO FUNNY!

EDIT: Forgot to mention I'm also tempted to rewatch PGSM right now. :)

Today, my Sailor Moon experience consisted of playing the Another Story rpg! I felt like replaying the final battle with Apsu to see the ending. I was watching the characters on my computer screen, so I hope that counts as watching something Sailor Moon related.

In preparation for the R2 Sailor Stars I have been watching SuperS again little by little and finding a greater appreciation for that season overall since it gives life to the rest of the citizens of Azabu Juuban and its quite funny.
I already bought the Sailor Stars DVDs but am resisiting the urge to watch it until I am done with SuperS, gotta marathon the rest of the episodes I guess.

OK, yesterday I did continue with S!!! I wanna watch more!!! But I did some big homework assignment to get it off my shoulders. Right now I wanna watch more, but it's almost 1:30 am! Maybe when I wake up I'll watch the R movie (been craving it all night) down in the dorm's common room... I'll try to be there before anyone so they don't tell me not to put it, they'll just have to sit down and watch... haha...well, it's cool, though... I like it.. LOL

Bye bye!

I've been watching my raw off-of-laserdisc Sailormoon S tapes. It's an interesting experience to be only able to understand about 40% of the dialogue from picking up words here and there.

I also finished Another Story the other day. Why didn't anyone warn me the ending blows? :x

I used twenty dollars of my b-day money to finally buy some blank DVDs to burn my SM episodes onto so I can watch them on my DVD player, but I guess that since the episodes are all in RealVideo format I cannot do that. I can't find a converter that can change the files into a .asf, .avo, .v1v, etc. file. I'm so sad about this... I've been hoping to do this since I got my new computer with a DVD burner... Bah. Does anyone know a trick or a good converter?

EDIT: Clarification

RM format converters do exist, but I don't know of any that are free, unfortunately...

And right now I'm in the process of rewatching the R season for the purposes of my encyclopaedia thing. Although to be honest, I've never really enjoyed the Black Moon arc that much. Mind you, Ail and An were entertaining.

Phi, if I ever get the chance to get my own DVD burner, I'd copy my R1s for you... heh. ;) Got 32 DVD-Rs lying around?

Watching Sailor Moon Season 1 from my R1 ADV set, and also watching another anime directed by the warped mind of Junichi Sato, Shin Shirayukihime Densetsu Pretear. It's a pretty good series, and short too at only 13 episodes. I may buy the manga.

Yesterday, I watched the Geneon Signature Series DVD of the Sailor Moon R movie, and it's still one of my all time favorite Sailor Moon stories. My only complaint about the DVD is that it does not present the movie in a wide screen format, but that's a minor complaint.

I've rented Pretear before, it is a great series!

Yes, garbage in garbage out. I suggest finding some AVI files. But if RM files is really your only option, then I know of a free RM to AVI converter. It's called EOVideo. It took pretty long for me last time but that was when I had a slow computer and all I could download were RM files.

I don't see why you're returning them, I go through DVDs really quickly. They're great for backing up and large downloads.

In any case, give up on the RM thing. Not just because it'll look like [BLEEP] on a TV even if you did get them into the right format (remember, transfers can't improve quality, they can only keep it the same or degrade), but because it'd be a nightmare. The conversion to .avi would be an overnight ordeal for just one RM file, and that's if your PC is fast. And even if its done in two passes, there may still be small screw ups. It could take you several weeks to do a season.
Hmm. I'll probably keep them, then. I can't download on this computer (we are renting it and I don't want to get in trouble or download a virus and making my mom have to pay for it.

@Sakuya: Ooh, thanks. I'll check that out. I paid good money for those episodes... I'd like to be able to watch them on my TV.
