Are these based on the yet to be seen Tadano designs

Even though it's officially a collaboration with "Sailor Moon Crystal," they're using the live action series-era logo I've noticed. Can this franchise get its branding organized?
I think we have to make peace with the fact that inconsistency is part of Sailor Moon's legacy as a franchise. Or they'll be changing the logo again

She has done a lot of commeecials before, during and after Crystal, so I doubt this is a sign she wrapped recording the lines for the film. Back in April they said they were still writing the script and anime voice works starts after the aniation is finished and not before like in cartoons. Hisako Kanemoto is still abroad and if she was not recast, the chances they are as far in production as voice work are pretty slim.

Then I have a far simpler idea: Bring Aya-san back.

I think this won't happen. Not because I don't love her as Ami, but simply because Crystal should be it's own thing. That is why I wasn't so keen on brining Kotono back. They should have either brought them all back or recast all the characters. If they bring one more old cast member and keep the rest of the Crystal cast it will be unfair. My favourites are Rika Fukami and Emi Shinohara and it would be unfair for them as well. If Kanemoto is indeed recast it better be a new voice. Anyone but Kana Hanazawa...

The fact that they got Kotono to voice that commercial is a good sign that she’s recording new lines for new Crystal movie as we speak, or she has just wrapped up voicing the movie and is now gonna be working on some misc sailor moon promo material

Yah I said that this could mean that she's currently recording for the film, or has wrapped up. She could very well be recording lines for the first of the two movies right now, nobody can prove that she isn't. We will never know. Hope they drop some info to us soon <3 Here's hoping

I can agree, I mean, Hisako was fine, but I still prefer Aya, and considering that she can still do Kero's voice in Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card and was recording Lyfia for Saint Seiya: Soul of Gold, which came out around the same time Crystal's second season was concluding, would it have been SO HARD to call her in to voice Mercury (it wouldn't have saved the first two seasons though), or if they couldn't get her, maybe Rika Izumi/Chisami Hama from PGSM?

Hearing Kotono in the commercial is so sweet...

She's also Bulma now and will be in the new Broly film.

(more confirmation here but it also has a spoiler for the movie)

It’s interesting how much effort they’re putting in this collaboration, but I reckon Monster Strike is still super popular in Japan so hopefully they’re to trying build more exposure and excitement for the Crystal brand.

Interestingly enough, Hisako Kanemoto recorded a few lines for Sailor Mercury in the Monster Strike collab (so did the rest of the Crystal Cast). It doesn’t mean anything regarding the Dream movies, but I sincerely doubt they’re planning on replacing her. (She’ll probably be back for the next Sailor Moon USJ ride which, at this rate, is going to happen before any Crystal movies).

I'm getting worried. I am not sure but back in the day Yukie Sako was announced soon before or even at the same time Crystal key visual was revealed. I might be completely wrong though. Then when they revealed the second designer the key visual was shown pretty quickly after that. Now nothing. I hope this not go in a development hell and cancelled in the end. I doubt funding is the problem as the franchise is doing pretty well. But who knows.
