Or Netflix is trying to renew their deal with Toei and the dubs/subs of other versions of the films has been completed and Toei is doing minor corrections to the films so Netflix will get it internationally

Just thought of this, but there may also be issues surrounding VA's and the writing/acting strikes going on.
Specifically, issues with AI and artists not wanting their work (their own voices) stolen from them.

Again, it's just speculation since the current wait time for a release should be based on previous release times for SAILOR MOON (not other series or franchises) and there's no reason to be impatient or push for a faster release since we're still well within projected wait times.

I personally envision a digital release on a streaming platform around the time the DVDs are released in Japan.
If there are licensing issues or striking issues, prepare to wait longer.

Emails simply don't have the power to speed up the process. If anything, it slows it down by making people deal with unnecessary clutter in their inbox, and demoralizing the people who are currently being overworked/underpaid by putting more pressure on them.

Y’all should stock up on pop tarts too while you’re at it.. I heard that worked once :mischief:
Hi, sorry to bother, but I'm not a native English speaker and I'm honestly wondering what's the meaning of this. What are you referring to with "stocking up on pop tarts"? Ty in advance!

When Sailor Moon was initially dubbed in the 90s and then taken off the air, a popular fan site at the time called SOS tried to campaign for DIC to dub the rest of R and the remaining seasons. They planned a campaign that involved buying poptarts.. and to keep it short and simple the whole thing was a total mess. It’s become somewhat of a pun in the North American SM culture ever since.

All in all, my response was really just making light of the situation since contacting Netflix really won’t make a difference in the long run.

I feel like I should add come context for people instead of perpetuating speculation about deals and strikes:

The Netflix announcement for Sailor Moon Eternal came THREE MONTHS after the films were released.
And that digital release was scheduled for FIVE MONTHS after theatrical releases in Japan.

It's barely been TWO since Cosmos Part 2 came out, and everyone has been making demands from the start as if that's going to make a difference.
If you want to set realistic expectations, prepare to wait another month before hearing things, and expect the movies in November AT BEST.

Who has Naoko’s e-mail? P-:
WHY HER EMAIL OMG?! Can't we wait until Netflix or any streaming platform making an international announcement of Cosmos
We shouldn't email her yet - we should email Netflix, telling them if they don't give us Cosmos now, we'll email her, reporting that to her. :P
