I don't think it's right that some people here are making such cruel comments.
Me thinks someone doesn't have a sense of humor. :oh:

Here is the webpage for the stunt doubles:
http://www.ranahouse.com/top/top.jhtml

The flips and such are done by the "G-Rockets."
^_^ Thanks for that information! Whoever they are, they have some pretty darn good acrobats! I wonder if the "G-Rockets" have been doing this stuff since Act 1? The flips, cartwheels, etc. seem to me to have improved in the last 8-10 acts or so compared to what I saw in the first 5-8 acts!

I think it was a bad capture as well. The stunt girls on the page all look cute. I suppose when you think about it, most people's faces don't look very attractive mid flip :D Kind of like how no one looks cute grunting upside down :P

Despite the fact that disrespecting stunt doubles is a wrong thought, I have to agree that the producers of this show should have paid more attention to this silly mistake.

When you look at the mid-air flip right before this scene, Venus' face was blurred out. That shows they were aware of this stunt problem and how careful they were about this. But in the next scene, blam! What happened? Did the editor fall asleep or think that no Smoon fan had a sharp eye? They were trying to believe that viewers (kids...) can be fooled, so no more necessary editing. But they were wrong. :grey:

It was a huge mistake. Hope it won't recur in the coming episodes.

I couldn't even tell. I actually thought it was Ayaka-san doing those flips... :)

All those profiles and pictures of G-Rocket made me wonder who is who in the act. Do you think they have certain stunt-double for a certain character or they just use them without saying who is doing stunts for who?

Well I dont really think that they do their stunts because u really have to visit any gym university or anything like that. It has to be learned and cant be learned within some weeks.

Well, I cant see the face and I know by myself that pics dont always show the real one. You can make someone as beauty as a model or ugly. You really have to see the person in true life.

That's an interesting question. It is possible that they don't assign stunt doubles for a particular actress. I was watching some interview with the action coordinator (or whoever he was) of the movie "Returner". He said the way he did it was he used whatever ever double could perform the stunt the best. He also had said that there was a traditional way of choosing stunt doubles in Japan, but he chose to ignore it. I forget exactly what he said it was, but I guess it was somewhat limiting in terms of getting the best results.

About the stunt double's looks. If a person doesn't look like this...

....then they're not ugly.
