Besides checking this forum. Did it help you through a tough time? Did it teach or inspire you to do anything? Did it prevent you from getting laid? Did it get you laid?

What has it done for you?

It helped me to be even happier about being born a girl.

Society often treats men better than women. Despite the fact that women stand out in their work they often struggle to obtain the same privileges as a man, a woman will never be physically as strong as a man, however sometimes, when bad news cases occur in which the woman is clearly the victim, some people tend to justify the act she suffered, perhaps by attributing it to the latter's clothing.

And there are parts of the world where women are treated worse than rags.

Sailormoon has revolutionized a way of thinking, from the simple idea of mahou shoujo it has become an anime of magical fighting girls, who, in addition to fighting daily injustices and prejudices, fight evil with exceptional powers, a group of girls all protagonists (even if inspired by super sentai where there are few girls in the team and often do not have prominent roles) who shine with their own light.

It helped me to keep a strong sense of justice, which goes against the current of this world, because now bullies dominate and those who are shy, introverted and sensitive suffer, helping me maintain my sanity despite the injustices I myself was suffering.

It also fueled my passion for collecting and drawing, thanks to Sailormoon I discovered the world of Japanese manga and anime (I didn't know this aspect of Japan or its extent, until then I only knew that I liked Japanese animated products more than others).

I discovered comics fairs and, thanks to them and the Internet, other people who share the same passions as me.

It also made me proud to have brought the manga drawing style to the art school I attended. Many art teachers turn up their noses when it comes to manga and anime drawing, I hope they can change their mind and see the beauty of these works and the effort behind them.

Whenever I'm mildly inconvenienced, I think of that weird sound Tracey Hawk's Serena makes all the time. You know, this one.

As boy, it truly let me see that shojo anime could have such serious mainplot and fight. The Classic Finale showed us that sacrifice could be so touching, epic and beautiful.

It let me watched a lot of shojo anime while many ended in disappointment, and also affected my own view of fictional works. I always prefer to let the beautiful characters met obstacle and serious enemy to make them further grow.

Also Michiru is stunning beautiful, still one of the most beautiful anime women I've ever seen.

Sometimes I quote Minako's misquoted sayings "Put off today what you can always do tomorrow" and "Love is too short so buy some heels girls" in my personal life, you hear enough of Minako's misquoted sayings and you start believing them. And sometimes I make up my own misquoted sayings for fun when I'm talking to people in the Sailor Moon community. Thanks Minako.

That's true not just for hers but other such sayings too - when the false is repeated sufficient times by sufficient people for sufficient time, it could eventually become the true. lol

Well those 2 sayings I quote have some truth to them.
Yeah, I should've also included "the partially true" in addition to "the false" in my comment above. lol
