Is Neo Queen Serenity a bad parent?

Some fans have stated she is a bad parent has she allowed her child to raised her younger self. I mean Chibiusa could have trained with the outer guardians in the future.

I don't think she is a bad parent, while its true she could've trained with the Future Senshi I think Serenity wanted Chibi-Usa to learn values and make some friends which is something she had a hard time with in future

She isn't letting Usagi raise Chibiusa, she just sent here there to train. I am sure she has many moments where she is back with Neo Queen Serenity, Endymion and the rest etc. I don't see how this makes her a bad parent some people are just prone to be haters.

I think the reason is she can't be sailor moon anymore . So she can't train her ?

Neo Queen Serenity spent over 900 years raising Chibiusa. I'd think her letting Chibiusa spend only a couple years or so to train with Usagi is nothing compared to that.

This argument is virtually invalid. It's canon in every continuity that includes Chibiusa that she is raised alongside young Usagi by her grandmother Ikuko in the time she spends in the 20th century. Anytime she is under Usagi's wing is as a sailor senshi. NQS simply trusts her own mother as a mother and herself (even in her younger days) as a guardian, and well honestly now thinking about it Chibiusa almost disappears a lot. But it all seems to work out!

I think it shows Neo Queen Serenity has a lot of trust in Chibiusa that she would trust her daughter going back into a different time period by herself. Considering she saved both the entire past and future, I think Chibiusa is mature enough to be able to stay on her own for a year or two with her mother's past self. And the last episode of S shows Chibiusa clearly loves being in the past and she didn't have any friends in the future. Neo Queen Serenity wanted her daughter to have friends and grow up like a normal girl instead of a spoiled princess. I don't see how that's bad parenting.

Not necessarily perhaps the future didn't have enough people her [how she appears] age that she could be friends with and even if she did maybe NQS wanted Chibi to train with the inners and learn to be a sailor senshi as she herself did with Luna in addition to meeting good friends plus getting an education, having Ikuko help in raising her is also a plus, maybe the past has something the future no longer has that could help in raising chibiusa like the normal civilian life, maybe in the future everyone treats her like a princess and that makes it hard for her to connect with people normally, maybe she has to act all proper in public, I guess in the future the only time she feels normal is when she hangs out with pluto. In the past she could be more casual thus happier which when you think about it is what parents want, their kids to be happy

Over 900 years & still failed, so NQS tried an innovative way & saw if that'd work on her daughter - I'd write it like that if I were the screenwriter of the show.

It is true, Chibiusa only became a senshi and explored her powers under the guidance of Sailor Moon.
