sorry now I see what you mean, I'm always misunderstanding text like that, should've looked at both eps. Now that I have though both synth pieces sound different to me and yeah all the series are riddled with these "stings" that haven't been identified. I particularly like the odd chords played in ep 43 just after the botched robbery with interviews/arguments and we get a wide pan shot to outside with luna and artemis. I suspect it's local stuff as earlier on in the thread there was discussion regarding an usagi and mamoru scene having synth but then the main theme being played on top of it so I suspect these bits and chords are studio based material mixed with library cues. Can't tell for certain.

So sorry unable to help there these library pieces {well lack of them} makes me feel so useless argh!

the more i think about it {along with searching} the more i'm certain that the rest of the stock music is local material {japanese}

Sailormoon S Episode 92: Haruka and Michiru VS Talismans – I don’t know the name of the piece, but the music was used in a video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hhSzOgkq6Xg showcasing JAL (Japan Airlines) aircraft. Here is the YouTube flash file.

looking at that video and i think that it's local material just because the choice of instruments and production values of the piece and the second one in the video fits the sailormoon period, whereas you look through the stock libraries of europe and america and it doesn't seem to match up.

secondly one of our best clues to tracking this stuff down is handel's sarabande from work HWV 437. when looking for this it comes in many arrangements and of course in d minor. now listening to all the piano examples you can find there's one distinct difference between all of them and the one used in sailor moon. the sailor moon version isn't just lighter and uses more chords per notes in the melody but it sounds an octave higher than all the other examples i've found. so it's defenately a seperate interpretation, like a solo japanese artist would do of a classical piece. all guess work but... curiousor and curiousor...

yep the more i think about it the more i feel certain that the stock library we need to search will be a japanese one.

kinda going on to last resorts here. I've downloaded the memorial music box booklet of cues:

And i'm going to attempt to translate all the library cues and list them up with a summary of what is found and still missing. Hopefully the translation and information will coincide with what we do have so then all the translated material may give us more clues to tracking this stuff down.

Greetings, I've come here to ask info about a particular and I can see rather highly searched track from episode 158 when Rini/Chibiusa rides Helios as he shows her Elysium.

I've been searching that track everywhere but I've had no luck with it, wanted to know if somebody knew the name of that track or if somebody managed to rip it, etc, etc.

yeah i stopped there because i can't handle this stuff. it's beyond my talents. still there are some words there but really it's an incredible clutch at straws and i'm begining to think that the publishers of the music set may have not had access to the music which they're refering to hence stuff like amedes song etc.

Aha, I had heard that as "Summit of Power" on the Classical Spirit album linked early in this thread, but I never knew of the Tarka the Otter movie that was once going to be the soundtrack for, or that Harry Williamson's father Henry Williamson was the author of the book! That explains why there's a reprise of the theme in the "Pursuit" track.

Yeah I suspect there's a local studio for library music or just another we haven't had a lead to and we don't know whether it's available on the net. Tough break with all this music being lost for years.

First I wanted to say how surprised I was when 1 hour ago I discovered videos on Youtube with these studio library tracks! I looked for them maybe 15 years ago (and didn't find anything)!

I just subscribed to this forum to share that I found the following 3 piano tracks, super famous (for being unreleased), they are from a Japanese similar studio library company:
- 北の空から (From the Northern Sky): ep 61 piano track
- 悲しい気持ち (Sad Feeling): ep 92 piano track
- いにしえの北国 (Ancient North Country): ep 110 piano track

It's actually all thanks to Youtube which managed to tag the track below the JAL plane video:

I then did some Googling, found the website, and googled "Sailor Moon" "C MUSIC Professional Library" and some other Youtube videos appeared with the track titles in their description (they were there all that time!).

Sadly though, there's this voice over the music and I cannot figure out how to remove. Maybe the alternative is to pay but the fee seems super high on the website. Does anybody have an idea how to retrieve these tracks without the protection voice?

I guess it's very likely other library track from Sailor Moon comes from this C MUSIC Professional Library. I guess we should listen for the tracks there and see if something sounds familiar.
