this was such a rollercoaster of feelings. first seeing on sailormusic.net that the songs were finally found only to be slapped in the face because they are heavily watermarked.

I'd actually buy them but it seems to be possible only in japan and they can only be rented with a yearly fee. so I don't know if I wouldn't actually feel better if we didn't find them. I wonder if the tracks actually originated from there since the anime is over 20 years old now.

Hello everyone c:
I didn't find the name or anything, (I'm not a good detective at all..) but I could swear I heard Queen Serenity's death song in another show called Marmalade Boy!! It played twice in episode 20 around 8 minutes in when they're watching tv, and then again around 11 minutes in.

I could be wrong as I can't hear very well anyways, but I thought you all might find that interesting ^u^

Dang, just when I was about to listen to the unused cues at the time. This stinks since the watermarks ruin the atmosphere.

Thank you so much for confirming for me!! It made me really happy especially since I wasn't sure I even had the same song!

But I now offer a gift for you all!!!

I talk about sailor moon entirely too much, so out of frustration my brother found the song!! I even got burned by my own mother, lol. She said," look behind you" Me: *stands up and looks behind*
Mom:" There's a whole world outside there besides sailor moon". XD

Search for Meteor Shower - Uechi Masaya!!!

While it is a cover because it came out in 2015, you can finally hear Queen Serenity's death song without the CMusic watermark

I would link an MP3 for everyone but I don't know how to do that

it's more like a remix of the original recording edited and extended with additional rain fx, the second familiar movement starting 0:50 repeats as the piece is cut at the 3:00 mark. Of course I'd prefer a clean version but this is next best thing and a wonderful gift, an early christmas present, thank you so much for sharing it with us.

Holy Sheeeeeeeeet. What a find! Looks like it was supposed to only be used for her sped up first episode specific transformation
That particular track was just a fight theme. Kinda cool still that her Japanese theme was in there. There are 2 other transformation demos on the CD, but sadly there isn't too many of the TV versions in general. We'll be sharing a download link on September 11 for the digital files of all 52 tracks.

Ah gotcha so the song being synced with her transformation was fanmade?

Shame it never got used in the show as a battle theme.

Yep, it was fan made. There are some cute tracks that never made it into the show. Looking forward to sharing it with the world, and maybe one day the rest of the score will be unearthed.

A big thanks to ThomasFan1945 Productions Inc. for managing to bug Don Perry enough to actually find this :P We will all continue to attempt to get access to the rest of the score. Hopefully won't take another 26 years though... I been listening to the CD on repeat at work :P

I've uploaded the CD to the internet if anyone wants to download it:
267.9 MB folder on MEGA

One of the songs was called "Chase from Hell"? :oh my: I am scandalized! :twistedevil:
These are just names Bob gave the tracks when he made his backup CD. Don Perry has also mentioned that none of the actual tracks ever had official titles, and were mainly grouped by mood.

I think my favorite is Rini’s theme is called “Chibi Usa’s theme” did he come up with the titles before DiC came up with names?

And Moonlight Knight’s theme is called “Aladdin”

Wasn’t that part of why Angelo Oddi had so much trouble placing the music in the final 17 episodes of R and edited movies?
