Oh, do you guys have Seiya Sensei by Mei? I have that one and have been meaning to scan it and humbly request a translation, but if you already have it then I don't have to scan it.

We do not. Scan it in and send it to us, and I'll take a diversion from translating the short stories to look at some hot Usagi/Seiya smexing. <3

And I need something to shoop because Icera's been doing all the short stories :(

My tablet has been sitting on a shelf collecting dust since before animazement.

The title of this story in Japanese is "Makochan no Yuutsu". "Yuutsu" can be translated either as depression or melancholy with equal accuracy. Ever hear of the show "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya"? The title in Japanese is "Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu". Same thing here.

I suppose I could have gone with "The Melancholy of Mako", but it may have been an awkward title for people who are unfamiliar with the names of the characters in Japanese and who are not familiar with Japanese honorifics or diminutives. Therefore, I translated the title as "The Melancholy of Makoto".

As an added bonus, the translation will ring familiar to anime fans who have heard of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. I thought it was a pretty clever title myself ;)

Anyway, I hope I explained that alright!
