I ask myself if Minako knows that she isnt the Princess of the moon. I mean, she also says to rei that she shall not leave Sailor Moon.
And I think also Rei knows that Minako isnt the real princess....
Or did I misunderstand it?

***spoilers***

Here's how I understand it.. As of Act 21, Minako knows that she is not the princess, and is instead a decoy for Sailor Moon (who I assume is the real princess in PGSM). Rei knows Minako's secret identity, and believes that she is the princess - but has doubts due to Sailor Venus' strange behavior and her order to "never leave Sailor Moon's side".

what means spoilers ^^v, I am sure everyone knows that Sailor Moon is the Moon Princess :P
But I just think it is strange, how could they believe that venus is the princess, she has nothing special, but Moon for example has many specialities. ... *g*

Ok, that was just in bad taste. Sorry, had to actually pay taxes. Grrr. I needed that money back, darnit. Stress relief will be done elsewhere, with small paper umbrellas!

Yea, well if anyone remembers the series or the manga Artemis and Luna didn't exactly remember everything all at once either. All that Artemis and Luna remembered was their mission to bring all the senshi back together and whatnot. Artemis, in this show, and as in the others, seems to know that Venus is just a decoy. But like Minako he's waiting for Luna and the girls to remember the past on their own.

This Luna seems even more clueless than the other ones. :P

Can't say I've seen enough of Artie to really judge his character. His plushie looks like ass though.

I've noticed that the Artemis plushy got a waaaay better crescent moon than poor Luna. What gives?
Probably because Luna was made in a hurry to be ready for the start of the filming and for Artemis they had more time? Or something... ^^;

OT: You stole my siggy :cthulhu:

I wonder why Luna is so clueless and Artemis has all the answers?

And I wonder whose idea it was for Minako to be the decoy? Hers or Artemis'? And how did she awaken so quickly?

These are basic SM questions, but I qould really like for PGSM to get into these details and explain them.

If we go by manga continuities alone (and even this can get messy, as several articles by Antie could show), Minako knows more because she's come unto her power earlier. She therefore had more time to develop it, discover its hidden meanings, and converse with Artemis than the other senshi have. After all, Minako became Sailorvenus, or Sailor V as she shortened it to, at the age of 13, while all the other senshi were given their powers a year later.

Yes... but still, why? *Why* did she come into her powers earlier? Was it because of Artemis? And why does Artemis know more than Luna?

I would really like PGSM to touch on this rather than gloss over it.

Well, Sailor V was around more too. And maybe the Queen wanted Artemis to know more, so that V could lead the other senshi out of too much danger for the real princess to awaken.

I think Minako awaken before the others because of some episode where they show her past and from the Sailor V mangas, she was working for crimes and stuff and that might be the way she found out that she's not just a crime fighter as Sailor V, but in fact Sailor Venus.

Up till now I was convinced, that Venus knew she wasn't the princess.
But now I rewatched some earlier episodes. And in those she clearly says "I'm the princess", when talking to Artemis in private (when she's in hospital e.g. I think). Then some episodes later she's all "Stay with Sailor Moon, no matter what!". Huh?
I'm not really sure now.
Maybe it's a mistranslation or it's ambigous (sp?) in Japanese, so it could mean that she is indeed the princess or that she's acting as if she was her (hard to explain what I mean)....
x.x

OT: Oh, and Lizzy, I wasn't trying to make you change your siggy, sorry if you misunderstood ^^; It was just something I noticed, but it was okay with me ^^

P-: That is true! I've been quite surprised how far LESS knowledgable Luna seems in this storyline than in those of either the manga or the anime!
You would have thought she would have backed Ami up in her concern about everybody going off in their own direction in Acts 19-21, for instance!
I thought she WAS supposed to be an advisor and guardian to all the senshi except Venus! :?
