These look so animation friendly... If they based the designs on these I think everybody would have been happy.

Beginning with the Sailor Moon World era, Naoko's illustrations were pretty much like the 90s anime designs.

These are pretty good middle ground. I don't see it looking anything like the 90s except for Michiru's face, but they look almost ready for animation.
