I think she’s honestly probably just a little rusty. She probably only draws when she has to and when she does it’s what she is comfortable with (beauty shots)

I like the new art but I’m tired of seeing the same old pose with the the moon sick photoshopped in every single time.

While I really like the new art I agree with you.
I wish we saw art with different uniforms, brooches and rods. A new illustration for Eternal Sailor Moon would be fine with Cosmos coming out next year...

I must say I prefer the individual ones over the ones used in the Kanzenban. They all have the same upside down triangle on their cheek...

Naoko took the same photoshop effect/filter she had used for Kanzenban Venus chain in the Dracumoon background. And the feet reflection........ perspective, perspective... besides, it seems Sailor Moon has been beheaded and someone has put her head randomly on the shoulders. :P

At least she did some effort with poses, some are a bit different (Neptune). Outers are better than they were on the kanzenban covers, which is nice.
Now I can’t unsee the V shaped highlight in their cheeks, it’s a weird thing.
To be honest, I like the group picture (actually individual drawings put together)... but the Dorito mark is too much.

I'd like to see them as manga covers.

Nah it was not, it was based on the eternal edition covers. These are new and have the slightly more young-ish looking look as the covers for the color edition.
Nah, its the same style Naoko been using since the 20th anniversary (2014). Ofc its gonna look sightly different since they werent made in the same year/session, but it follows the same style/aesthetics.
