I agree, that fan trailer is really well made! Is that song really the same Otome Sensou song only instrumental? I watched the MV for the full song, it doesn't sound much like it. But the music used in the trailers matches Sailor Moon in a different approach IMO. Gives it a more mystical and fantasy/action quality compared to old BSSM music which felt more shoujo. It's amazing what you can do with software nowadays compared to a few years ago.

And I've said it several times before, that song is pretty unlikely to be used as the theme of the new anime.
I wonder how that rumor started.
they performed it live didn't they? i watched the broadcast live, but i understood it as the Japanese (or at least Elly's interpretation of the Japanese--my Japanese (and French. lol) wasn't strong enough to understand on my own) was somewhat ambivalently worded, so we're not sure about whether it's that song that will be the theme or there will be some other song.

It started from their performing that song after Moonlight Densetsu during the press announcement of the new anime, I guess? And the song title seems to match the show, too.

During the press conference, the girls announced that they would be performing the theme song of the new anime, and shortly after that, they asked the audience member if they would like to hear them perform a song for them, which was "Z Otome Sensou" that they performed.

This got misinterpreted by the Internet as the girls asking if the audience wanted to hear them perform THE song that they'd be singing as the new anime's opening, when they were really just asking if the audience wanted to hear them perform for them in general. And afterward, they sang another one of their songs following "Z Otome Sensou".

^ The song title "Z Otome Sensou" can also be easily perceived as Sailor Moon-related by fans: "Otome" in "Otome no Policy" & "Sen" in "Senshi." Also, "Z" can be seen as a part of the title of an anime sequel, such as "Z Gundam" & "Dragon Ball Z." lol

I'm excited to see the remake, especially since this will actually be new animations.

One question though, when the broadcast occur at a certain point, if we can't catch it due to work, would we be able to see it again?

It might be available for streaming.
Plus, someone will probably upload a video of it some time after it broadcasts, so don't worry.

I'm sure online streaming on some or at leats one of the paid sites for anime streaming will have the official Sailor Moon Reboot episodes on them to see (normally subbed a few hours just as it's broadcasted I'm sure or hope).

Which would be a good thing because if it does get a legal stream then there's a good possibility that they won't have the next episode previews and they would have to be found through TV rips. The best example of this is with Saint Seiya Omega which has it's previews missing on Crunchyroll's streams for it but they are present on each of the show's TV broadcasts and can be found on sites like YouTube.

Plus, you know, DVDs and Blu-Rays DO exist...
DVD maybe but there's no guarantee that it will be out on Blu-ray since not every recent anime has gotten released on that format yet (see Toei's "Toriko" which other than the "3D" movie, is DVD-only).

This is what I believe Sailor Moon would look like as if today or close to it, a little similar to Precure I'm sure but I do believe Sailor Moon's original amazing animation style will transcend to today's art style... Aikatsu's style seems to be similarly close and right on. What do you guys think? Or is this a MISS?? I could be wrong but I still think the original style will remain pretty much the same but however re-mastered with today's technological advances in terms of animation.
