Great song. Definately my favorite on the DJ Moon CD. Miyuu sounds even genkier than usual when she's doing her leet Mitsuishi Kotono impression! I know some of you mean people like to hate on Miyuu for being so much hotter than all the other actresses on PGSM, but can one deny her pure singing skill!? (She does "C'est La Vie" better than Minako!) I THINK NOT!

Hmm... can't get myself to vote since neither is what I think she sounds like.

Although I like her so much, I have to admit that she doesn't sound like an angel in THIS song, NOR did I say that she sounded like she's in pain. She just sounded like jumpy in this song. Would like to hear her sing in slower beat song like Keiko's before I say anything else.

Definitely sounds like she's in pain. I don't hate this song, but I can't listen to it more than once at a time (I like to repeat the other ones). She's straining to reach the high notes and it just doesn't work! It has a fun beat, but I think they should give Miyuu a song more suited to her voice range.

I don't really like the song. It sounds like some J-surfrock and IMO it doesn't suit Usagi at all. Sure, she is "genki", but she also has some depth. This song has no depth whatsoever. However, sadly, PGSM songs are generally weak, especially compared to the BSSM anime music. Only "Kirari - Sailor Dream" is more or less decent, "C'est la Vie" is for me a complete failure, Minako and Rei's new songs are average and they have this forget-me-instantly style.

Where is the feeling of "Maboroshi-no Ginzuishou" or "Moon Princess"?

Neither one has appeared in the show yet, so... :P

Most of the singles seem like they were thrown out really quickly and cheaply just to take advantage of the hype and make a few bucks. Kind of fits with the whole "we're just here to sell merchandise" aspect of PGSM itself. You get a great show in the meantime, but you also get a lot of kinda-crappy tie-ins that go with it.

She's referring to music sung by Mitsuishi Kotono, the original Sailormoon, in the original Sailormoon series.

No :) But even up to episode 24 in BSSM anime the background music, and ending theme for example, were much more climatic. And anime had thousands of fillers, low budget and much less action.

Of course, I understand that. But still, PGSM has a much bigger budget than the anime and they could try to make their OST better - for the sake of their own wallets ;) "Over Rainbow Tour" is supposed to be romantic - it was played during some Usagi and Mamoru scenes. I'm sorry, but it's anything but romantic. It was annoying, at least for me. And it's not the best way to sell CDs.

But I still hope we get some decent music with the Princess and Ginzuishou storyline.

I'm aware of that. :)waves "Sailormoon fan since 1995" flag:) I was making a joke. Hence the weird...uh...smiley thing.

Yeah, Over Rainbow Tour is anything but romantic. Unless you think of "romance" as smiley bubble-gum twelve-year-old crushes.

I agree, though, the anime had decent background music. And good opening/ending themes. I do like the PGSM opening theme, but there isn't an ending theme and the BGM is...amateurish is probably the best word. Or low-budget. Maybe they're spending all the budget on the new wigs and better fight choreographers?

I think the BGM is getting a lot better now, especially in Act 22 when Sailormoon attempts to heal Mercury and Act 23 when Mars did that super Youma Taisan.

Okay, I'll give you that. I didn't notice the BGM during 22, but I definitely liked the BGM during Mars' attack.

Hee. Mars attacks. Uh, anyway.

So it is. Okay, so there's at least one good BGM in PGSM so far. :)
Hehe well how about the battle music from Act 17 when Venus was attacking the youma but failed, same BGM for when Jupiter was fighting Kunzite in Act 21... :)

oh...and Venus' henshin music!!!

There are a lot of good BGM that wasn't in the first CD...

About time we get someone else with good tastes in this thread!

Miyuu rocks. Over Rainbow Tour rocks, too. Miyuu isn't Mitsuishi Kotono, though, which apparently threatens some people.

You know, I think she's actually a much better singer than Venus. Her songs are more catchy and she actually sounds like a singer out of the whole group. However, she could sound like a better singer, I just think she needs to work on it. Sakura Fukubi will still be my favorite until they come out with more songs I like, and Over the Rainbow tour will be my 2nd fav.
