Pet names for Usagi

I voted "Usagi". I liked pet names from manga and anime, "Odango Atama" and "Usako" especially, but right now it wouldn't suit LA characters, with the touch of "forbidden relationship" theme in their modern lives too. BTW, I like this "destiny is against them" theme - but it's just me, a little creepy angst-loving fangirl

And, notice that they don't modify names - no "Mako-chan", no "Mina", "V-chan", etc. Even simple "-chan" is not that often as in the manga/anime. I guess it's more serious this way.

I personally chose Usa, since that's what they used in the manga (or at least all of the manga I can remember right now!), and in the musicals. I think Usa is cuter than Usako anyway...although Usako IS cute in it's own way. Just as long as they actually use some kind of pet name. Just calling each other "Usagi" and "Mamoru" all the time is dull, especially when their love has pretty much transcended time. Let them be all cutesy and sappy...I look forward to seeing it!

Well, although I like pet names (see 2 posts above) I don't agree that simply "Usagi" and "Mamoru" is "dull". It's not what they say but how they say it really counts when it somes to "dullness". You can say "Usa", "Usako", "Usagi-chan", "Odango", etc. in a perfectly dull way and you can make a very emotional way of saying just "Usagi". Personally, I like Shibue's "Usagi" as much as I liked Furuya Tooru's "Usako" or "Odango Atama". I wouldn't mind if he (Shibue) stuck to that. He doesn't seem to be a type to create fancy pet names, especially if in the LA universe pet names are not that popular.

Haha, Fark has the best filters EVER. There's an actual phrase, I forget what it is, but the whole thing just gets filtered @_@ And on April Fools day all posts are on random-filter, and hilarity ensues ;P
