it was my favorite season as a child, when it was aired on tv.

now i can't say i like it very much since my favorite happened to be r season after rewatches. but i can't say i hate it either.

it's like a season for kids. an unicorn, a small kid as a main character and dream themes are more suitable for younger watchers (there were scenes which weren't, but they were removed at the time when i watched it on tv lol)

anyways i'll vote for yes.

SuperS has great visual and good characterization on the villains. The problem is that.

1. VERY SLOW mainplotline pace
2. Focus was on random victims, Chibiusa as the main character, didn't work out.
3. The Outer were left.
4. Final fight sucks.

I'd rather watch SuperS than Stars (bar the first 6 episodes which are great and obviously more SuperS than Stars). I didn't mind ChibiUsa being the focus. I didn't mind the Outers not being there (though I definitely would've preferred to have them show up as recurring characters).

My biggest issue with SuperS is that it's so full of fillers and the pace drags along forever. I honestly loved having the inners get some love and attention again after they were somewhat ignored in S and REALLY ignored in Stars.

Tuxedo Unmasked just announced he found two 1995 interviews on why SuperS detached so much from the Dream arc and there's gonna be an article about it.
I bet there's something to do with trying to refresh Sailor Moon to a younger generation of fans and boost toy sales, since kids were growing out of the show and it was becoming to get huge worldwide. What do you guys guess?

I found SuperS entertaining. Honestly, some of the episodes were a bit bland.

I love the music and the art. I thought the villains were unique.

What I didn't like:

Sailor Moon could only use Moon Tiara Action without ChibiUsa calling Pegasus to create the Kaleidescope.

Pointless episodes. Unlike previous seasons, SuperS had a very silly story method that didn't make much sense (StarS had this problem too.) They DMC spent so many episodes trying to find who Pegasus was hiding in, all the while, they knew and saw with their eyes, ChibiUsa continuously summoning Pegasus and didn't go after until so much later.

Late Senshi power ups. We had to wait too long for the Senshi to become super.

Can't give the poll a yes or a no.

SuperS had some of the best fillers like the ninja :usagi: episode.

And sometimes getting some really great animation such as this. :wow:

Then you had those episodes the remless/lemures do absolutely nothing like that plant slot machine MOTD.

Yeah. I believe this has to do with a lot of executive meddling. You can see it in the videogames like Various Emtion. Probably gave Ikuhara more reasons to leave with enough motivation to do Utena.

They also heavily promoted with those special episodes, OVA and the movie.

Didn't someone here posted a big drop in ratings in the latter half of SuperS? Not sure how it affected sales figures for all those merchandise.

Used to dislike it then but then Stars appeared and Seiya became a worse chiba than chiba himself
That and those boring uninspired filler episodes of Stars. Doesn't help the animamates weren't as cool as the Blackmoon clan.
