Is this one new? It's a shot of the whole set of Solar boards.

Mainly posting because of the amusing sight of Sailor Mercury's DaVinci-esque flyer.

See, that's what bugs me about the "wheelchair" concept. What disabled kid would really feel empowered by the knowledge that even superpowers would never let them escape their disability? Admittedly, had the show had good writing, they could have found a way around it, but the show is so clearly obsessed with "tokens" that I doubt it would have understood how to write that type of character respectfully. They just probably figured "girl in wheelchair" was all they needed.

Would like to see a closer look of that. :)

Yesterday the "Bakene" auction just said "Werewolf". I mentioned the similarity to Bakene both here and on Sailor Moon News. Wonder if the seller spotted one of those and changed the title or if someone else noticed it...
Maybe the seller is combing Sailor Moon sites to see fan reactions to the auctions. :P

Dude, if I was told that I could get a wheelchair that shot lasers of death and destruction, I'd go break my legs with a sledge hammer right now.

(Or I would do it the white trash way and gain 300 lbs to claim disability.)

A non-disabled/obese person can also use a wheelchair, tho, whether it can shoot lasers or not.

Better yet! It could be a jet-propelled wheelchair.

OK call it a damn space-fighter jet and get over it... Beats those spess surfboards any dogfight.

There's no air in space for jet engines, tho. :P As for me I'd like to see her using a spacetime-shifting/"folding" wheelchair, which doesn't need to physically move to get to any spacetime destination coordinates. :)

A standard jet engine functions by having a turbine pull air through it to create propulsion. Since there is no air in space, you would need a rocket. I believe technically a "jet" can refer to something that spews reaction mass from some sort of reservoir, but this is typically called a rocket.

So yeah... space-fighter rocket still beats surf board.

Of course a surf board requires wind of which there is also none in space so...

Solar wind? (The sails would need to be way, way larger, tho, & the maneuverability of the crafts would be so low that they'd be practically useless for their intended usage as seen in the footage of the pilot episode. :P )

Another auction this morning for more of the SabanMoon henshin sequence. Uploading the highlight pics, even though the auction will likely still be hanging around when you read this with that $500 price tag. Guess someone thinks they can fund their retirement with this sequence. :p

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sailor-Moon-Ani ... 0632900%26

And yeah, the live action arm shot in the first pic makes me think of the "Take Me On" video. Too bad Ah-Ha didn't pop out of the video. Cause I could have gone for that.

SabanMoon also apparently has no arse. Check out the side shot in that pic. I really was hoping she'd have a substantial one as she's probably fed on lots of fast food during her American existence. Maybe Ganguro Jupiter will.

Included the back scan of SabanMoon, in the case that anyone here was deciding on making a cosplay of her. Sad to see that there's no back bow, but even more sad to see how the back of the boots look. Less is more!

Well, you must know how some americans overreact to the tiniest things. "Oh, someone got beat up? I'M SO ANGRY THIS IS WHAT'S RUINING AMERICA GIDGFODHIUHG!!!" Not trying to be offensive, but still ^_^'

I do understand that, but still a big disappointment nonetheless. :ninja:
