Wow, I almost have some kind of respect for Zynga now, or their employees at least. I seriously have to know who did this and how they got it past their boss.

^ I still think red hair doesn't fit the Mercury character, tho. I understand her animated version has to match the actress' look, but the actress could've simply dyed her hair or worn a wig.

Actually I've found her being a cripple somewhat fits her, since she's supposed to be the brain of the team (not sure if they'd follow that in this version, tho) - kinda like Prof. X. lol

Generations from now, college students studying pre-21st century civilization will look back upon the 1980s and early 1990s and all the stupid tropes we employed.

Because, prior to this show, a retarded redhead has never been done.

Well, Prof. X was balanced out in that his powers were far more then exceptional. (Second only to Jean Grey and Psylocke if I remember correctly.) And while we have no solid ground on what Mercury's powers were in this version of the show (aside from her Death Beam Shooting wheelchair), if they're anything like her bubbles, I'd hardly think that she'd be a balanced character.

But that's just my take on her. If you're going to create a gimp, you should balance that character out somehow other then just being smart. It's kind of like what happened to Billy in Power Rangers Zeo. Sure, he was smart. But he was now utterly worthless.

Funny enough I'm writing a fanfic based in the post-apocolyptic Sailor Cosmos timeline where Sailor Soldiers from an alternate universe arrive (Sailor Ares, Sailor Hermes, Sailor Zeus and Sailor Aphrodite). I'm actually going to use some of the stuff from Saban Moon like the Moon Surfers and possibly Sailor Hermes on a wheel chair.... but they aren't the Saban Moon gang but instead they are Sailor Soldiers in the Silver Millenium where they actually defeated Queen Beryl and Metalia during the 1st war.
