Naoko kept a blog there and posted pictures every once in a while. After the blog disappeared, she became more distant Note: I am not criticizing. It is perfectly okay not wanting to be a public figure.

So the 5 Senshi didn’t have any previous acting experience?

It seems like the PGSM producers and director were trying to create some kind of idol group.

The actor who played Kunzite (with God now, Rest in Peace), you can tell he was a trained actor, he made a manga/anime character believable.

I really enjoyed his acting, as well as Sugimoto Aya as Queen Beryl. Her act was pretty campy but by the end of the series I was in love with her style.
Her expressions made the show.

Oh yes, I remember when that came out back in the day - my friends and I called that particular design style used for the senshi "dot-eyed style". We figured with the live action coming out it was their way of creating a more generic, evergreen style for the characters that could work as shorthand for either the animated or live action versions. Sadly it was all Flash so it will be tough to easily make a functioning replica.

I don’t have an opinion on her as an actress, but she certainly does not sound like a typical Japanese actress/celebrity and/or an average Japanese woman. Note: I know very little about Japan and my assumption is that Japan has a very homogeneous society.

In addition to being a writer and dancer, she performed in many risqué films and is not afraid to freely express her thoughts and/or what is her on mind.

I stopped by to see the flash animated manga and Naoko's illustrations.

I've never liked the style of the extreme deformed characters with those dot eyes though...
