I was fooled by this post for a few moments when I started reading it a few moments ago. My eyes skipped over everything and went for the green text and just caught "Sailor Moon Manga gets a new anime series" and I was thinking they were talking after Cosmos. Just for moment....lol
If this played Moonlight Densetsu with the symbols randomly lighting up while it cooked rice it would be interesting.

I‘m watching Cutey Honey Flash for the first time. It‘s visually and acustically so pleasant! Just like watching Sailor Moon. And nothing looks derpy or off but dynamic and elegant. I wonder if the team (that also worked on Sailor Moon) continued working together in the early 2000s and how their style translates in computer based animation. I really wish they would gather together once again and make a Sailor Moon special with 100% creative freedom.
Most of the stuff from Stars worked on Cutie Honey Flash. It is actually a very good show and the story is really good as well. Have you seen Princess Tutu?

Cute Honey is much better in the sense that it has had several adaptations without much hassle as far as I know. My favorite is New Cutie Honey, but Cutey Honey Flash is also nice. I've also seen Re Cutey Honey and Cuteu Honey The Live (which is the live action version). I love Cutey Honey of course.
Im not sure but I don't think Go Nagai was that overprotective of the series. Not sure about that now.

Most are reboots and re-imaginings. Flash is Cutie Honey as a proper pure mahou shoujo version.

Probably because Dynamic Pro. isn't as difficult to work with as PNP. That's what I think anyway.

I wish people would stop saying this. Even the original Cutie Honey is considered a magical girl. Cutey Honey Flash wasn't even the first shoujo entry of the franchise.
