We don't know, but knowing about Naoko's frequent breakdowns during the original manga release, or how much time she spends to literally sit and sign contracts, we can assume she's just supervising. And I'm not bashing her or anything, that's what I genuinely believe.

I can't believe this is FINALLY happening! They actually listened to fans! I feel like Naoko and her staff have been busy working on this on and off since that 20th anniversary exhibition. I bet Naoko mostly supervised the colorization, but probably personally did the coloring for the most iconic pages. I can't wait for this to come out. I'm sure a print release (especially for translations) will be out soon enough so I won't be buying the rest of the Eternal Editions (only bought the first volume) after all.
(I wonder if the Sailor V manga will get colorized too?)

I was hoping the release of the Eternal Edition in my country which was due in July but was postponed because of the covid situation. Definitely not buying it tho. I'll wait for this coloured edition, even if it costs like 50$ the volume. I guess the Eternal Edition is kind of dead in countries where it hasn't been released yet with this announcement.
Super cool! I probably won't be getting though since I already have 8 volumes of the Eternal Edition which are expensive enough already lol; but awesome news anyway.
A lot of the backgrounds in panels are pretty simple so they can probably pretty quick about this.
That being said, if the hypothetical print edition in English is hard cover it would be hard for me to say no lol
Wonder if Sailor V will be done too, it's much shorter so you never know. It usually follows other reprints of the manga.

Hopefully the cover featuring Neptune is nice. I love the rest of the Eternal Editions covers but for some reason Neptune looks super unfortunate on hers and Uranus' x_o;

Hate to nitpick but Usagi’s anatomy seems pretty off in the cover, even by Naoko standards. It doesn’t seem that her legs line up with her torso. The angle of Ami’s neck seems a bit odd too.. and why didn’t she draw their whole body? The way their legs just cut off is weird. They should have just reframed the image to hide the lack of feet.

If this is about Eternal, then it's frankly obvious they're not going to announce anything on the 30th. Everything else is probably impacted by COVID too.
The only reason this isn't affected is because it's a digital release.
