The exhibition "Sailor Moon Museum," which traces the 30-year history of "Sailor Moon," will be held at the Roppongi Museum in Tokyo from July 1st to December 30th. Details of the exhibition contents were announced.

At the "Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Museum," new illustrations drawn by Takeuchi and valuable original color drawings including the first exhibition will be exhibited on the largest scale ever in three periods. Vol.1 will exhibit the original parts 1 and 2, Vol.2 will exhibit the original 3rd and 4th parts, and Vol.3 will exhibit the 5th part of the original and subsequent artworks.

In addition, "immersive experience theater" where you can enter the world of beautiful color illustrations with screen images and special effects, "hologram manuscript exhibition" which looks back on the history of sailor warriors with famous scenes, animation materials from the 90's to the latest work There are contents that allow you to "experience" the world of "Sailor Moon", such as a collection exhibition that collects more than 600 materials such as valuable goods of the time and musical costumes. Tickets for the Vol.1 period will be on sale at Eplus on May 4th at 10 o'clock.

New illustrations??? I hope they're better than the monstrosity she made for the Olympics and the tacky one we can see here. Goodness... those legs and that skirt....same hands, same face... I see now she's been obsessed with realistic jewels since 2013...

Naoko should stop using Photoshop.

I think it's gorgeous. The only thing off to me is the skirt is indeed too long. Body proportions have always been exaggerated. I see nothing wrong on that end.

Don't worry: They'll be featured on a million overpriced stationery items, but never collected in a new art book, just like the rest of Naoko's art work since 2012.

I must agree that the face is okay (besides the odango weird perspective). But the rest is... She took like no care to the bottom half of the picture lol.

Honestly, that's how I draw too. Put all my time and effort into the face and hair, and then the body comes out a poorly scribbled mess

Same I can objectively draw and used to be in art class in middle school and high school, I even drew portraits on the beach in summer for money for years, but I cannot draw bodies and animals properly...

She just loved that modelesque solemn pose, she has proven she can draw the feeling on movement,.
