Naoko reminds me of how I used to be with drawings. Start with the head, make sure it looks absolutely stunning. Give her hair that looks better than a L’Oreal commercial.. and then just minimal effort for anything else Relatable queen.

Honestly though, would it hurt her to draw like one new little spin off chapter, something like Parallel Moon or a cute little side story that you could perhaps only see at this Museum? Maybe get the current voice actors to record lines and then play it in the little theater area? I feel like that would be a major way to pull old fans in.

Anyway why create a new art book when you can charge fans three times over to see the same thing over a couple of months? I see you Nayohki.

OMG yes this bubbles thing is so kitsch ! This totally destroyed Mercury eternal edition cover, which is already one of the weakest art in this series…

Poor Crystal.... No setteis, no storyboards at all, unlike Eternal and the 90's... On top of that, 3 seasons on one single panel without a mini-screen showing scenes from the series like the others..........

Very underrated.... Crystal deserves better.

What I find silly, the color settei (Galaxia, etc), Toei still have the originals, so why did they ask the other Italian guy to redraw everything?
Let's be honest, his pasted copies are ugly and we notice that they are different from the originals, in the design, in the colors (more vivid).

I remember he said on Facebook it's Toei who asked him to redraw the same art (they even sent him the images they wanted him to copy), give the characters thicker lines and more glossy coloring. It wasn't his choice. His personal art is much better than the official art he did for Sailor Moon. We don't know why Toei wanted that. Maybe they thought this way the art would look more modern and vivid? Maybe they wanted a uniform style guide they could use for international licensing?
