Hi!!

I m really happy about the Sailor Moon Museum expo at Ropponji Hills!!=^_^=

Soo many mangas, anime, dolls, costumes...I love them!!^_^^_^

If you have closer pics of the dolls section please share!!^_^'

Btw, there is a chance of a new mook with this new Sailor Moon expo?? :?:?
(I guess in 2023..because the expo will end in december)

Thanks!!

EDIT: I see a closer pic of the dolls and figures section...and on the top and middle it shows th SH Figuarts..and on the bottom some of the 90s Bandai Japan dolls (for example the Super Sailor Moon doll with wings, golden staff and golden moon chalice.....or the 4 Amazoness Quartet dolls)...but not the mini dolls from the SMW line...oh well...

^ As the poster of that tweet suggests, perhaps that's the only PGSM-related item on display at the museum. lol They probably can't show the faces nor voices of the cast due to possible legal issues, & exhibiting the costumes/items alone w/o the persons donning/holding them could feel awkward.

  • Sato claims there were never plans to produce a pilot of Sailor V. Work on Sailor Moon began as soon as they wrapped up Goldfish Warning. Which is weird, considering the proposal materials that popped up online recently. Maybe he forgot?
Or the proposal was scrapped when they decided to go for the team format before the animation was made meaning they did not do anything prior for Sailor V to even materialize.

Um...soo sad that PGSM wasnt at the Museum....
Except for those five episode scripts shown above.
(btw...the PGSM dolls are the best!!=^_^=).
Agreed, probably because they're produced at a later time w/ better technologies &/or improvements from their anime counterparts. A possible reason for the PGSM toys not being displayed is that the actors are featured on their packages.
but maybe Ayaka chan :minako:will visit it (if I remember well, she and Sawaii chan :usagi:visited the 20th Musuem at Roppinji Hills a few years ago!!)^_^^_^
Haven't seen her mentioning it yet - she's currently busy in preparing for her annual birthday fan meetings. :)

You re right Rika!!

So bad that the PGSM dolls (and the SMW ones too) didnt show at the 30th Museum!!
(I remember the Bandai Museum and there the PGSM dolls were shown!!)

Maybe Ayaka chan and the other girls wil visit the Museum...Sawaii chan is a really good friend of Ayaka chan!!
It will be great to see the PGSM girls at the Museum!!

That's because even tho the actors are featured on the packages of the dolls, those packages are part of the product produced by Bandai - just like Toei had no problem in re-releasing the PGSM DVDs back then, even tho the actors are, of course, featured in the content of the discs.

Maybe Ayaka chan and the other girls wil visit the Museum...Sawaii chan is a really good friend of Ayaka chan!!

I hope so too. :D BTW, as Ayaka's closest friend, Sawai will appear as a special guest in Ayaka's upcoming annual birthday fan meetings. :)

It s good to know that Bandai has the rights for the PGSM mini dolls!!
(I remember that the PGSM dolls and Usagi bedroom set packaging have also the Toei logo!!)

It s great that Sawai chan will appear in Ayaka s annual birthday fan meetings!!
I follow Ayaka s facebok page!!

The museum was packed with hundreds of people, and I had to wait in long lines for both museum and cafe. Due to overcrowding, they allowed entry without prior reservation only after 15:30 (I had to walk in circles around Mori tower until then).
Despite these apparent signs of high demand, the museum is closing for good on Dec 30. Shutting down an enterprise which remains at peak popularity and brings money at maximum possible speed doesn't sound like a reasonable business decision to me. I wonder why they don't just keep running it for as long as there is sufficient demand?

They are probably doing this to create artificial scarcity and keep demand high for future Sailor Moon anniversaries, events, and exhibits.
