Hello everyone, It's my first time on this site.

So for an introduction, I figured I'd show you guys some colour correction I've been doing for the Sailor Moon R2 DVD's. This is part of a Project I've been working on. Let me know what you guys think of the colour corrections. Note: My objective was to match the cels as closely as possible and not remove any noise, unlike VIZ. Noise is integral to the details in any image so you cannot remove it (unless you use AI).

The Process Goes as follows. I zoom into a white part of the picture then I get the white balance. Then I equalise the Levels. I add a small amount of saturation (0.5 - 0.9) Then I'm done.

That's all of them. Tell me if there's anything to you like or dislike about them. This is the best the DVD's can look.

Nice! I always wanted to see a release with this kind of color correction.

By the way, the Viz Blu Ray releases of the movies probably have the most accurate colors out there if you ever needed an extra reference.

Thank you  . Also, I've seen the blu-ray's of the movies. They're so beautiful to look at. But it is hard to match those colours directly as they used the original masters directly. For the Tv series they've misplaced the original masters. But so far, this is extremely close and I will keep trying until I get a perfect result.
