Well, Marav [asked me] to make a thread like this, and I decided to do it, but expanded it to cameos in general (even though the bulk of it is about what he's asking me about). If he would rather this be specific to just the ones I'm mentioning and not also ask if there are any more out there one can spot, then I'll edit accordingly. *shrug*

To start, as Rosen pointed out in [that same thread] (about the crime show "Bones" referencing SM), there is an entry on [Wikimoon] about SM cameos. You can find it [here].

I made reference to some nods of the head to SM, all in the [real] or [super robot] genre. The first is actually kind-of an in-joke in some games that includes [Gundam] and [Evangelion] in a crossover of multiple real/super robot anime. Basically, [Misato Katsuragi] has a crush on [Amuro Ray], and there's some flirting going on. I can't verify this first-hand as I don't have the games in question, and though maybe Wikipedia's not the most trusted encyclopedia on hand, but mentions of it elsewhere on the web (when using keywords in a web-search that at least contains those two names) make me trust this to be true. *shrug* Also, there's mention of Misato making SM-related comments about what I next referenced...

...the [GF13-050NSW Nobel Gundam] from [Mobile Fighter G Gundam], an anime that ran from 1994 to 1995. (By the way, the [GFF Figure] does more justice to the mecha design than the lineart in the first related link, though I'd still re-do the head a bit, at least.) Even if you don't feel it was a homage to Sailormoon, can you at least see some sort-of resemblence? (Personally, I feel this mecha design looks closer to Sailor V, and thus [this forum signature] I made.) The person whom designed Nobel Gundam was [Hajime Katoki] (a favorite of mine). He also designed...

...[Fei-Yen] from [Virtual-On], a pretty good arcade game if you ask me, though it's been years since I've played it in any form. Intentional or not (and I've been web-searching to figure out if it is), can you still see [the resemblance]? :) Over the years, Fei-Yen (by the time of [Virtual-On Force]) starts [looking more like Chibimoon] to me.

Now that I got three (possible) cameos/references/nods-of-the-head/hat-tips/etc. out of the way (though I have a feeling they might be shot out of the sky), any more out there you guys can point out?

In the Armitage III OVA, there are Usagi lookalike type 2 sexroids.
They don't make it to the Armitage III: Poly-Matrix heavily edited version of the OVA material.

I found 2 Sailor Moon cameos (Excluding robot Chicken)

Simpsons Howloween:
Lisa swoops in with a sailor moon costume on
Drawn Together Foxxy vs. the board of education:
Sailor Moon is seen sitting next to ling ling in an SAT class with a fake glasses mustache and nose.(a lot of charecters made cameos in this episode)

Does anyone know anymore.

The Noble Gundam/Sailor Moon jokes are played up in the G Gundam manga. Noble Gundam gets a power-up called "Super Noble Gundam" and looks like Super Sailor Moon. Allenby (the pilot) does the "I'll Punish you!" pose atleast once.

In the anime Puni Puni Poemy (OVA of Excel Saga) SM appears in min 0:14
I love that scene. There are tons of magical girls in this scene - Tickle from Majokko Tickle, Megu and Non from Majokko Megu-chan, Sally from Mahotsukai Sally is her final opponent, etc.

In one episode of Cutey Honey Flash, Kisaragi Honey was originally suppose to dress up as Sailor Moon, but the idea was nixed.

Not sure why, Toei loves to do crossovers of their own series.

Isn't there already a thread like this?
not exactly the same, that thread is about people/characters who look like SM characters, and this thread is about SM references in another animes, songs, etc

BTW here is another one:

In the 2005 film War of the Worlds, the end of the English dub's Moon Gorgeous Meditation is heard on television. At the end of the film, Sailor Moon's music composer, Takanori Arisawa, is listed in the credits.

^ This is my real personal experience (but I've no photos to show): many years back I've seen a woman in the streets w/ a tattoo of a similar size, of the anime Black Lady on the same location of the body, only that it's not just a silhouette as on that guy's body.

A further (somewhat) coincidence is that I suspect she's a sex worker due to her appearance as well as that the place I saw her is also a red light district (an equivalent of Kabuki-cho in Tokyo).

Wow!! That's some cameo! And a really fantastic find. As a Moonie, if I was watching that movie and not expecting Sailor Moon to show up, I would be jumping around all happy and shocked.

That's a sexy silhouette.

Holy mother of hell. That´s the best.

And for a guy to tattoo SM. Props to him.

That's a very important & well known work in the Japanese manga/anime scene for so many years! It's title is very long - "Kochikame" is just a muchly shortened form of it. lol
