I honestly can't ever see Sailor Moon falling into obscurity. Some fans, myself included, owe the franchise a great deal for inspiring our future endeavors.

Good thing everyone knows who she is though. Now this is just my personal opinion. While Sailor Moon as an icon will remain, the story needs to be updated with new stuff. I'm kinda still happen regardless though cause I have a lot of Sailor Moon things to choose from to watch.

I think I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't be a little sad after the Sailor Stars movie is shown(???).

I don't know if anything new will be on the horizon with Sailor Moon for a while and I'll probably be 50 when (if) they decide to do the story again.

But who knows..maybe we will get an all-new season just for the heck of it. Especially if these movies prove to be a success.

As the virus is currently rebounding in the country, let's hope it'd still open on schedule. :)
Honestly, I really doubt this will affect the film.

I heard many times in these months that Japan would have a rebound, but the government has not taken other measures.

Kimetsu no Yaiba movie was released in October. It was an incredible success.
The virus is currently kept rebounding precisely because the govt. hasn't taken other measures :P (to be really precise, it does have taken some minimal, half-hearted measures as a response, tho). While it's all for the economy & the Olympics, the current policy could ruin both in the end - let's hope that somehow wouldn't happen.

Some people should accept the fact that they will not like anything other than 90s anime and let others enjoy the other versions of Sailor Moon.
It is tiring to see how some people are always on the lookout to see how they can tear to pieces our beloved franchise for the slightest stupidity.
I have already seen other Twitter users in Brazil telling them to stop with their pessimism since it is very annoying.
We know that the movies are not going to be Ghibli or Frozen quality and we are at peace with that.

All trailers, promos, and teasers with Spanish subtitles

Usagi says in one of the teasers that people who don’t go watch the movie in theaters will be punished in the name of the moon ::eeklez:

Here in the United States, in certain States, such as mine, all theaters are closed and we can’t even have Thanksgiving with family and friends.

Given the fact that all news outlets are reporting that the covid-19 situation in Japan is as critical as in other countries, I am surprised TOEI hasn’t announced a digital release yet.
If it's a digital release, where would they put it? Crunchyroll or some other anime streaming website?

To be fair, this isn't the case in Japan.

I already mentioned Kimetsu no Yaiba movie that was released in October 2020.

This movie is still in theatres. Currently, it has the second biggest box office of a Japanese anime movie ever (only Spirited Away has a bigger box office in Japan).
