So apparently unlike America animation is done first. Than the recording.So maybe the movies are mostly done animation-wise?

Usually in anime they do the recording after animation. We still do not know whether they have finished the recordings. We don't even know the cast for the new characters. I guess part 1 is probably done or at least in post production. We don't know if the voice actors are working of it as of now. I believe they work on both films simultaniously though, as the original plan was to release them both this year.
