^ BTW, modern Chinese makeup styles are popular among Japanese girls these days, who love to imitate the looks of Chinese female artists, as reported in this Economist article earlier this year:

Japanese youngsters want to look like Chinese starlets

She's been (pretty exaggeratedly lol ) dubbed the "once-in-four-thousand-years beauty" by the Japanese media some years ago, so I guess she's also one of those targets to be imitated by them. lol
