In act 19 when Usagi and the rest of the group arrive in Crystal Tokyo Usagi notices that the Moon is really close to the Earth, its practically hanging above the horizon.

Any theories what happened? Whats causing this? In real life the Moon seems to be getting further away from the Earth. So why?

Marty: "This is heavy!"
Doc: "There's that word again, 'heavy'. In there something wrong with the earth's gravitational pull??"

More seriously, maybe Neo Queen Serenity drew the Moon into a closer orbit to combine it's, uh, geomantic... whatsits.... with the Earth, to align the two for the way she uses the Silver Crystal to build Crystal Tokyo?

Or maybe they had three days from the time their 20th century counterparts went home to defeat Crystal Tokyo's next enemy, the skull kid. I dunno.

Pretty sure this would do something to the tides. Might be pertinent to Japan, being a series of islands.
